"Easy parking outside in parade of shops. Close to nature walk and lake - restaurants nearby were not open (Wednesday) so we walked for 30 mins to nearby town Vollonne for evening meal."

"This home was perfect for our family's first visit to provence. The facilities were great and the bedrooms stayed cool in the heat of the the summer outside. Our lovely host was really helpful and left a welcome hamper with local treats. The highlight had to be the views of the lake from the living room - stunning! "This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "
