It was close to the airport and could provide transportation to and from. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was first rate and really helped make the stay a good one. I would definitely stay in this property again.

This place is a bit of a ghost town. Management is absent from the property and the staff, while nice and well-meaning, can't confirm your booking or access your records at check-in. It's you to prove you've booked with your receipt. Then they have no idea which room you booked and you've got to look around the hotel til it matches the picture and description on the receipt. Staff were really helpful with luggage though.

The property is very nice and has so much potential. The room that we were given only had one towel, air conditioner did not work, no tv remote control, wifi didn’t work and the taxi that was ordered did not show up in the morning. The hotel did fix all of the problems after moving to a new room. The food in the restaurant was good and the manager was very nice. Just a note, hotel shuttle is free only for airport pick up not return.

Great hotel, great value, lovely people

I stay here overnight almost every time I come to Uganda because I need to travel from Entebbe to Mbarara, and it is not always safe to travel long distances over night. I've always been satisfied since staying here 2016 to the present day

I checked in quite late and the whole place was quite dark. It felt unsafe, like I was the only customer there. There isn’t enough lighting around the hotel. My room smelled quite damp and the bedcover looked dirty which got me questioning everything else.

Over night stay

Just an overnight stay after arriving from airport in Entebbe. They sent an airport shuttle (car) to pick me up, and driver was nice and courteous. Hotel was clean, service was good and welcoming.

What I liked: The area is safe. The staff is very very polite. The room was kept clean at all times. I picked this hotel because it is very close to the airport. I think the Manager's name is James and I found him and his staff very helpful. The driver who picked me up from the airport also works for the hotel and he was super nice. His name is Allan. What I didn't like: I stayed here for 3 days and for the first 2 days, I took cold showers because I did not have hot water. As it turned out, unlike in my home country where you have access to hot water 24/7, here they only turn it on when you ask for it. Long story short, house keeping came and turned it on for me. Come to think of it, I guess I should actually be commending them for saving electricity which is good for the environmental.

Our family stayed at Airport View Hotel for a week in January 2022. The staff was fantastic - very professional, and ready to jump in and help with all of our international difficulties - like arranging Covid testing, assisting when our Verizon Travel Pass failed to work on our cell phones, arranging a driver for day trips to zoo, Lake Victoria, shopping mall and - of course, the airport. Our two-room suite with private bathroom was upstairs - with private balcony overlooking beautiful manicured garden area - was spacious and quiet. Our family spent many hours relaxing on the open 2nd story patio area near Business Office. Air conditioning worked well. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and I couldn’t get enough of the African Tea. Highly recommend!
