WALK TO BEACH ACCESS! DOG FRIENDLY! UNTI 1B

"We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the Starfish in room 1B. The pictures are exactly on point. The living area is actually larger than it looks. One thing that we did not know until we arrived was this is an UPSTAIRS unit. Fortunately it was just my daughter and I and not my parents as they would not have been able to get to the room. We brought our Golden Retriever and he had a great time. Grass areas are limited but are available. Another “good to know” is there is not a code on the door to get in - you will have to download an app and use your mobile device - you can add other phones to lock/unlock the door- but will need to let Scot know each person’s #. We did not access the beach from the Starfish as we went to the part of the beach my parents were staying instead. The beach is located across the street and probably a 5-7 minute walk. Lastly, there are GREAT restaurants in the area - don’t miss the beach vibe with yummy food at the Sand Bar and breakfast at The Word of Mouth."

"This Motel was wonderful, perfect room, nice sized fridge, very nice big shower. The room was nice, cold and clean. Love that you have windows to open. The owners were so kind. Our neighbors were very nice, nobody bothers you. It was nice not having housekeeping bothering you, or waiting to go in your room. If we needed anything a guy was on site to help if we needed more towels or trash bags and he was very nice to talk to. We were able to just enjoy our stay and it was awesome . I can't remember staying in a place that just felt so comfortable but this one is definitely the spot for us so far. It's quite and very close to everything. I honestly was surprised with it being on a main road that the traffic would be bad or you were hear loud music from cars but none of that happened. We honestly didn't want to leave. Parking was perfect, we have a very big truck and we were able to park right by our room. They also have An area to park your boat or trailer. Love the cameras, it makes you feel safe. 711 is right next door and Walmart is right down the street. They have awesome TV channels, it was like being at home, we didn't miss anything:) We stayed 4 days and the price wasn't too bad considering it's not far from the beaches. We highly recommend Lemon Bay Motel. I think next time I'll bring my blower though so I can get rid of the sand mess I made in the parking lot. I felt so bad. Also love the blinds. No light gets through"

"Without a doubt, the best place—very spacious and in an excellent location. You have the beach right out front, and Gasparilla Beach—which is very beautiful—is just 25 minutes away. Communication with the owner was excellent, the sunsets were fantastic, and the terrace overlooking the bay—with the breeze blowing—was a delight. We will definitely be back!"
