Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area

Our check-in experience was extremely disappointing. We were supposed to check in at 4:00 p.m., but we had to wait for more than two and a half hours before we were finally given our room. We were repeatedly told that the room was not ready. After being on the road for more than 10 hours traveling to Florida, my children were exhausted, restless, and upset. They had to sit by the pool while we waited, and they became increasingly frustrated because they were so tired. I was also very upset, but there was nothing I could do except continue waiting. What made the experience even worse was that no one offered a sincere apology or any form of compensation for the inconvenience. This was, without a doubt, the worst check-in experience I have ever had, and it left a very negative impression of your service.

The hotel was beautiful but I personally was side struck by some extra fees that I must have glossed over or something. On top of the normal nightly costs, there was also an extra 50$ resort fee per day just for existing there, and a 40$ parking fee per day to use the self parking on the premises. But the main reason I didn’t give the full 5 starts is because when I arrived to check into my room (it was around 4 or 5 am) the receptionist seemed pretty irritated at me asking her “am I still able to check in? On the website is says check in stops at 3am”, while I showed her my phone so she can see my reservation and everything and she replies with “I don’t know? Are you at the right place? We don’t stop check ins?” With slight attitude. Anyways, I the place was cool

The apartment and amenities were exactly as listed. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfy. The gym and the pool in the complex were nice. Would definitely stay there again.
