Keystone West West - Emerald Isle Paradise

Beautiful 4 bedroom, 3and 1/2 bath half duplex sitting right on the beach. Nothing to do here except relax and enjoy the sea breezes from either of our 2 decks. Direct access to the beach and full backyard as an added bonus but great for yard games and to keep the little ones entertained when you have had enough beach time.

Renovations as of June 2023 include new flooring throughout and all bathrooms updated. Top floor has amazing views from great room, open kitchen and large deck. Dining room table seats 8 plus 4 bar stools at kitchen island. Additionally, top floor also has queen bedroom with smart TV and full bath with shower.

Middle level provides a queen bedroom with smart TV, twin room with 2 beds (with 1 trundle bed) and shared hall bathroom with walk in shower. Also on the middle level, master bedroom has direct access to deck facing the ocean. Master has 2 closets and TV with cable. Master bath includes dual vanity, soaking tub with separate shower. Full size washer and dryer on second level.

First level family room provides extra living space with cable TV in case of a rainy day or extra guests with a pull out couch and half bath. Outdoor shower, covered picnic table and grilling area, and plenty of parking round out what this home has to offer.

The house is also close to stores, restaurants, aquarium, mini-golf courses and the Emerald Isle pier. Don t miss out on staying at this little slice of paradise!

Amazing stay!

I could not be happier with this place! The location, the views, the proximity to the beach, the extras at the house (spices, detergent, trashbags, beach stuff)! Everything thing was perfect! We would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent host and property

Very clean, plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 kids. Conveniently located. Private access to the beach with awesome ocean view. Outdoor shower was perfect after the beach. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

Perfect beach getaway in spite of a little bad weather! House was clean with a great layout for our young family. Short walk through the backyard to the beach- extremely convenient bathroom in the basement when needing a quick pit stop. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic place

This rental helped make our vacation with friends magical. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. We had a beautiful view of the beach and a quick walk over the dunes to actually get there. The host, Sue, is great at communicating details and had us fully prepared for our stay. She had infinite patience for my many, many questions.

Fabulous vacation

We had a wonderful vacation and loved Keystone West. The house was beautiful and spacious enough for our 10 family members. The views were stunning. We loved having the yard for activities when we wanted a break from the beach. And the beach is just steps away! House is close to grocery stores, movie theater, restaurants and souvenir shops. Perfect location! We loved it!!

Wonderful home on the beach for the extended family

We had a wonderful time at this beach house. Very convenient to the beach as we just walked through the backyard to a brief path and we were on the beach. Our part of the beach was pleasantly less crowded that many other parts. The house was spacious, clean and well stocked with supplies. The hosts were also very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely book again in the future if we needed a house this size on the beach of Emerald Isle.

Wonderful House

Keystone West was wonderful! Beautifully furnished and decorated. Very clean. Perfect location - near grocery stores, shopping, etc. Well-equipped and very organized kitchen. Plenty of hangers in closets. Lots of extra pillows and blankets. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful.

Exceptional Place of Stay

The house was exceptional! It was clean, and roomy. The kitchen have everything that you would need. Loved the top floor balcony with the chairs that sits up high to view the beach and the ocean. Very short pathway to the beach. The food stores and etc is conveniently very close by. The Black Pearl Miniature Gulf is down the road on Reed Street. My husband and I had fun there. The employee that works there is very nice to talk to. A very big souvenir shop of Emerald Island merchandise is right next to the miniature golf place as well on Reed Street. My husband and I really liked staying at "Keystone Kottage".

Another fantastic stay at Keystone West!

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Keystone West and it did not disappoint! Sue is such an amazing host and the house was even better this year with noticeable upgrades (new flooring throughout, updated bathrooms, etc..). We arrived as the cleaning crew was wrapping up and they were so gracious, asking us to approve each room for cleanliness before they left. Our group consisted of my husband, 7yo son and father-in-law. We truly enjoyed every aspect of the house, particularly the easy beach access. The beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with every cooking utensil/dish/pan you could need. The living area was spacious and outdoor areas plentiful with a choice of upper and lower decks, as well as a first floor patio with picnic table. My favorite was the upper deck with large captain chairs overlooking the ocean! Between the house itself, super friendly neighbors and close proximity to groceries, shopping, restaurants and a cute water park, it was the perfect Emerald Isle vacation home. All in all we love this place and can’t wait to return in the future!!!

A Perfect Fit for Young Families

We've had two wonderful stays here, with the second visit confirming the exceptional quality of this rental property, especially for young families. The layout of the house, combined with its proximity to the beach, played a pivotal role in making our vacation incredibly worthwhile. Each day started with the excitement of our little ones (ages 2, 2, and 5) waking up and rushing to the beach. The convenience of being so close to the beach made our daily beach schedule effortless and enjoyable. The main living space (3rd floor) was undoubtedly the heart of our vacation experience. It boasted spectacular views of the beach, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for our family moments. The ample room allowed our children to move around freely, whether they were on the spacious deck, playing with bubbles and taking in the sea breeze, or cozied up in the living room, watching their favorite TV shows while prepping meals. Our extended family members were comfortably accommodated, including our nanny who had her own private space on the bottom level. Our late afternoons were well-spent, either at the local child-friendly aquarium or in the large backyard for various activities. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to add a bathtub on the 2nd level for kids' convenience, as the current shower setup necessitated using our master bath. This place holds a special spot in our hearts, and we hope to return and create more cherished memories here.

A lovely property and stay but…

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this home for three nights in April. The house was wonderfully stocked with everything one could need from boardgames to kitchen, cooking supplies and lots of camp chairs, and beach toys. It is a perfect family getaway, and the below items do not change that! Yet, there are a few things that could have been better: The quality of the mattresses was low. Hand in hand with that, the sheets and towels provided, which are cleaned through an external laundry service, were very poor quality. Working in the hospital setting, these had the same harsh and over bleached feel of our hospital bedding and sheets. This also resulted in quite a mix of quality. Some of the towels were worn, so then we could almost see through them while others were sparkling white hotel, quality towels. These are not major dealbreaker, but when paying this much for a house, I have certain expectations. Lastly, the house is accessible through a digital keypad. Throughout the entire state, we had exceeding difficulty locking the front door. I did call the property manager, who walked me through the process again to no success. I did not pursue the issue further at the beach, but I think that this needs to be addressed.

Beautiful location on the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better a location! We really enjoyed the home and the awesome beach access. Knocking a star as it's not as quite set up for people traveling by plane such as no beach towels provided, no laundry detergent, soap, etc. we had to purchase quite a few things to stay there for a week.

Memorial Day Getaway

Long Beach weekend with family. Keystone Kottage is clean, great location, super host and on the beach. Amazing views. Easily accommodates 4 adults and 4 kids.
