"I booked two superior queen rooms because they were supposedly soundproofed - they weren’t. No staff anywhere - to check in ring a number. Did not see one member of staff at anytime. My room had no coat hangers, the wall lights did not work. When I rang to notify them they didn’t care. Also didn’t care about my daughter’s remote for split system which did not work. No offer to fix the problem. Also in her room no cover over light in ceiling fan - aesthetics aside - dangerous for children. Ceiling fans very dusty - couldn’t use. The traffic noise was horrendous. Rooms 7 and 8. I could go on. Don’t put fittings in rooms if you are not going to maintain them and have them in working order. What’s the point people?"

"Charge for early check in was extortion. Not impressed at all. Room had odd smell. Thin walls, heard other guests outside. Will not stay again."

"Elbert’s property was a perfect choice for a quiet getaway with our two dogs! The dogs loved the space to run around and we had a great time hanging out by the dam, in the canoe, playing tennis and stargazing at night. Elbert also gave some great recommendations for things to do in the area and we even went on a bush walk following one of the trails he’d mapped out. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend! "
