Seabreeze Cottage - A Seaside Beachfront Retreat.

Welcome to Seabreeze - a secluded beach front cottage with an open floor plan on Meadow Point in Frenchman's Bay. Rough cut timbers with tile and pine wood floors provide a very cozy feel. The cottage sits on a lovely sandy gravel beach and provides water access for kayaking, and exploring the sea. Outside the property has an open deck and a covered screened-in breezeway with a northern view of the Raccoon Cove. A short walk away and you will have an outstanding vista of Frenchman's Bay and Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Relax by a fire pit area in the back yard while enjoying the breeze by the shore. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 4 miles from Marlboro Beach, 2 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and walking distance from Lamoine State Park, and beautiful Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 20-25 minutes. Ellsworth is within 10 minutes for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.


Multi Family Options - Rent two or more and save. We also offer two other properties in Lamoine #182554 & #359029 on Raccoon Cove both 2 1/2 miles away. One is a newer built post & beam cottage with 3 bedroom, one bath with an additional sleeping loft. The other is an open floor plan cabin with rough cut timbers and pine floors providing a very cozy feel. Outside the property has a screened-in porch and a seaside cabin with a southern view of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park.

Awesome Week

Lovely, remote, waterfront Maine house. Hosts are lovely and attentive. We were happy to spend time with close friends in Lamoine AGAIN! plenty of room for game nights and also quiet spaces for winding down.

Maine getaway

Came to the area to see the sights and also visit with our daughter who is working at Jordan Pond House for the summer. The property met all of our needs. Becky stopped by to Help fix the cable and that was appreciated. The dogs loved the beach / water and all of the wildlife. We enjoyed the property and would stay again if in the area

Great location

Plenty of room for a large family. I knew renting from the beginning that it didn’t have an ac but bigger fans would help specially at night as we had some warm days. Laundry in sight was great to have after long hikes. Great house for our dog. Beautiful view and it was great walking on the beach every morning.

Such a peaceful and relaxing stay

My husband and our group of friends had such an amazing stay at this cottage. The surround area was so quiet and we felt completely safe. The views were amazing and we actually liked being about 30 minutes away from downtown bar harbor. We felt like we got to escape to crowds to our cute and peaceful cottage everytime! We loved walking to street to watch the sunrise! We would 10000% stay here again! Everything was super comfortable, the beds, pillows and couches! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with all that we needed! You won’t be disappointed here!

Family Vacation

If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from Bar Harbor, but still want easy access to there and Acadia National Park, this is the place for you! This bayside home was the perfect location for our family vacation to Acadia National Park. The layout of the home provided multiple spaces for us to gather together or have our own space when needed. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and having a washer and dryer are much appreciated. The views from the 3 living areas of the water are gorgeous! We would highly recommend staying here!

We found the property quite endearing! Nice very quiet neighborhood where wildlife abounds…. We visited for two weeks between September and October and had hoped for more fall color, I think they must come second week of October

Cottage camp

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful cottage camp. The location was spectacular. The home was very clean. This is a true camp, feeling with a fire, roasting pit outside and home that is Reminisced of a day gone by. This is not for someone who is looking for top-of-the-line everything. This is a property that is perfect for someone who likes comfort, location, and all the necessities even if they’re older. We loved our stay and we love the neighbors..

Roomy and Comfy

Seabreeze Cottage was the perfect setting for reuniting with my family. The views from every window were stunning. The cottage itself was roomy yet comfortable, tastefully decorated to fit the coastal setting. There was plenty of room for us to sit and chat, as well as areas to go to for some quiet contemplation. Fantastic Family Getaway!

We had another amazing stay at this property! The location is unbeatable, with stunning water views that made our mornings special. The amount of space is incredible, easily accommodating our extended family of eight, plus our dog. The check-in process was seamless, which made settling in a breeze. We enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation, yet it was conveniently located near area attractions. Our grandchildren had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings - and they felt like they had their own apartment! An amazing highlight was witnessing the northern lights right in the backyard—an unforgettable bonus! Overall, we highly recommend this rental for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You cannot beat it, and we hope to return again in the future!

Loving Lamoine

Our family (6 adults) had a lovely stay at this home. There was plenty of room to spread out and have private spaces. As mentioned by others the kitchen was well equipped with a variety of pots/pans & utensils. I would recommend a couple more cutting boards for food prep but there is a Renys (sp) nearby if you need them. The highlight of this rental is the charming location on the cove! We loved walking the beach and kayaking on the cove and the quiet. But ~ so convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and Bar Harbor/Acadia. We would definitely rent this property again.

Nice house, very good for multiple parties

We enjoyed the stay very much. The house has its own beach and Lamoine Beach is just down the road. The house is setup so that there are 2 sections allowing for privacy, so great for multiple A couple of annoyances: the coffee maker did not keep coffee hot. The outside lights were out, and we got there after dark so it was difficult to get settled.

GREAT HOME

Our family of 8 truly enjoyed staying at this home. So very accommodating! We took up our small aluminum boat, 4 kayaks and a big water raft. Our grandchildren had a blast at high tide! We took our boat into Bar Harbor. We avoided cruise ship days. Lol. Home sure works well with the extra bedrooms , bath and living area available. You wont regret staying here!

Quaint cottage

Came to Maine for a bucket list trip. We went in the beginning of November but should have come one week before to enjoy the boat tours. Nevertheless just exploring Acadia without crowds was amazing. Nate and Becky”s cottage is so warm and welcoming. All it’s little quirks were comforting and the beach outside the door, what can you say? We were so happy we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend this property. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for letting us stay. AMAZING

Quiet & Cozy

If you’re looking for a small place for peaceful relaxation, this place is great! No one was in either cabin next to us and it was so peaceful and serene at the lake. My husband and daughters were successful fishing every day we were there. Enjoyed relaxing (and staying warm) by the fireplace in the cabin. The bathroom was a bit tiny, but thankful for the warm showers and clean space. Even with a fire in the fireplace, it was a bit chilly in the cabin on the cool nights and rainy days. The extra blankets were great to cozy up in while reading a few books. Thank you for allowing our family to share your quaint cabin on the lake. We had a great time!

Beautiful and Relaxing

We used the Seabreeze as our base spot for exploring Acadia National Park, both the Schoodic Peninsula and on Mt Desert. Except for one night, we shared a family meal; the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to prepare meals. Afterwards, we watched the sunset either from the back deck or we walk down to the backyard beach. One day, at low tide, my husband collected mussels, and we cooked those. The house provided enough space for 6 adults to relax comfortably after exploring the park. The short walk to Lemoine Beach was nice too. On our last morning there, the family of deer that we'd seen throughout the week on Meadow Point Road decided to walk right in front of the house; I watched the family of four through the kitchen windows. We all loved all of the windows and being able to see all of nature through them. I highly recommend walking the crossing the land bridge from Bar Harbor to Bar Island...really just exploring the tidal pools that form there.

We six adults appreciated the spacious house, waterfront, woods, comfortable furnishings, and the quiet. Staying warm was a bit challenging in a couple of the bedrooms, but not a dealbreaker unless you like tropical temperatures. It was a pleasure to return to after the traffic and parking woes on Mount Desert Island, though it would be hard to find a more beautiful place for hiking and sightseeing. Ellsworth is a good alternative for eating out and a bit of shopping, only 20 minutes away.

The property was idyllic and the perfect size for a family of 9 plus grandparents. Larger than the pictures make it look. Living on the beach and watching the tides provided endless entertainment for the kids. Recommend bringing or renting kayaks so you can explore the bay at high tide!

This is a fantastic property! The cottage is private on a beautiful wooded lot. Add a great beach right outside the back patio. The sunsets are incredible. The cottage itself is rustic with amazing decorations to enhance the feel of a north woods retreat. Add the water right out the door and it transforms you to many childhood memories. The inside is large and roomy with more than a few places to gather yet it provides spaces for privacy when needed. Bar Harbor and Ellsworth are easily accessed within 30 minutes along with an entrance to Acadia National Park. After a day of hiking or driving in Acadia or enjoying the towns you can relax and enjoy your amazing retreat. It really is the best of both worlds and would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy this beautiful area of Maine while relaxing in the best nature has to offer. When we walked in the front door we all said the same thing. “We could live here,”
