Nice stay. Quiet location. Easy check in. Needed help with the pilot light on the fire logs. Came right away. A microwave to the kitchen, hair dryer, and blackout curtains or blinds over the upstairs sliding doors would be a great addition. Enjoyed our stay. For the price , well pleased and would consider staying here again.

Pro: The area surrounding the place was beautiful. Con: unit was not clean when we arrived. Beds had been made but sheets were dirty. Dishes that were in the cabinets were dirty. The stove top still had food on it and the oven had burned food in it. Plus, the A/C unit was not working. Also, the pool was being refurbished so it did not have water in it.

Check in and check out was super easy, since visiting in the Fall we did not use the pool, I did walk over and it’s beautiful, we had a fireplace but did not see instructions on how to turn it on, the kitchen was fully equipped, our linens and towels were high quality, I had to contact the office because there was no hairdryer in our unit which they supplied, my only observation was the toilets, I wish they were higher. I would definitely recommend the Lodge to stay. It’s a beautiful location not far from Ellijay or Blue Ridge, we watched the deer as we had our coffee.

It ain’t nobody trying to help you once you get there on time Wi-Fi went out they didn’t wanna show you how to unlock the doors and lock them by code. Staff was never around and the pool was dirty. If I had a chance, I would never book that trip.

I got there. I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to get in. It was no staff around the man they act like they don’t want to show you how to open the door or unlock the door. Staff was never around. The pool was dirty and on top of it, I left a day early because I did not like that trip. I wish I never planned it.

POOR HOUSEKEEPING, ZERO AMENITIES! When we arrived, the kitchen had garbage and opened food in the cabinets from previous guests, and we found ants crawling in it. The main appeal of this place for my wife and I was the fact that there would be a full kitchen, thinking we would be able to save money by cooking our meals instead of eating out every night. The first time we turned the oven on, we could smell grease burning inside, so we ended up not using it for the rest of our stay. There are also ZERO amenities onsite outside of the room— no pool, no lounge area, not even any staff present to help with any concerns you might have. When we did reach out to the host to express our concerns about the cleanliness, all we got was a text message saying they would tell the housekeeper to clean up better next time. Waste of money and very disappointing. I’d recommend just saving your money by booking a hotel, you’ll have a much nicer stay somewhere else.

There is no staff onsite. There is also no WiFi until they give you the code. I had no service so I didn’t get the email, had to call the 800 number to get the code for the door. Had to msg them to get the Wi-Fi password which didn’t connect half the time…the place is beautiful and is huge! Has everything and Ellijay is close! I’d go there again!

Overall it was a good experience. The views were amazing. We could not get the fireplace to come on. Followed instructions, but there was no dial on the wall. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom did not come on. Lots of cobb webs. It was spacious and clean inside. Bright light from outside room one made it hard to sleep.

They staff was friendly and the rooms was clean but the fridge was acting up and only worked some of the time so we had the throw some food out and then when i tried to gove my kids a bath the water was brown and then they didnt have any type of curtains in out room that was near the office and they keep the outside offices light on all night whiched shined in our room making it look like it was daytime all night long so we didnt get that great of sleep

When I book a property I always go directly to the actual site to check out all aminities. The property was NOTHING like the site! We immediately asked for a refund but it was refused. Totally misleading!

Pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The poc was easily accessible. They responded to all my questions and inquiries immediately. Location of the accommodation was amazing and beautiful. Be careful when driving up the hills, plenty of beautiful deers to greet you on the side of the road. The accommodation felt like home. Washer and dryer was a plus/plus for our stay. Mother nature was not very kind, with the down pours. Make the best of your food purchase trips. The closest grocery is approximately 10-15min away. All cooking utensils were appreciated for our stay. This was a very pleasant stay, appreciate the quiet surroundings, scenic views, refreshing nature/wildlife experiences. We look forward to staying again next year.

Air conditioning was "on," but rental was 85° for several hours and made sleeping unbearable. Staff weren't on sight, so situation did not get mitigated before we checked out the next morning. Place was mostly clean, but the bottoms of our feet were all black after walking around.

This place was spacious, comfortable, and an excellent value for the price. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely come back. However, there are a few things I wish I had known before booking. First, there is no staff on the property. The check-in process was simple and handled over the phone, but I was driving and didn't see the messages with the instructions beforehand, which caused some confusion when we arrived. Another thing to keep in mind is how secluded the property is. During our stay, there was only one other family there, and the resort is truly in the middle of the woods and mountains. I felt safe because my husband was with me, but if I had been traveling with only a group of girlfriends, I might not have felt quite as comfortable. We also didn't realize how far the nearest store was. We arrived without water or snacks and had to drive about 15 minutes to a very small gas station. I understand that's part of staying in a remote mountain area, but it still caught me by surprise. When I think of a "resort," I usually expect at least a small convenience store on-site or nearby. Overall, this is a great place to stay, and I would absolutely return. I just wanted to share a few details that might help future guests plan ahead and know what to expect.

This was the perfect accommodation for our anniversary weekend! The property was spotless and offered stunning views — we even saw a deer right below our deck. The shower and bed were better than any hotel we’ve ever stayed in, and the self check-in process made everything so easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
