Awesome place

There were 9 of us staying here and EVERYONE thoroughly enjoyed this home. It was everything we hoped for and more. Owner responded almost immediately to the one issue we had (we couldn’t figure out which fuse blew out and talked us thru it)-and we were right back to enjoying this beautiful home

We had a great 4-generation family vacation here. The house is lovely with plenty of rooms to accommodate everyone. The decor is high-end. There is now a full sized second refrigerator in the mud room which helped tremendously. Parking was more spacious than we thought it would be - we fit 10 cars at one point. The lake was a lot of fun yet quiet and secluded. Everything worked - there were no surprises. Wifi was good. TVs, though plentiful, were all differently configured and not easy to figure out - but it was July so no one was really watching them anyway. The house and yard was immaculately cleaned with all the linens and kitchen supplies expected. Overall highly recommended.

Family Spring Break in the mountains

The house was absolutely beautiful. Great for a big family. We enjoyed the large open living space with a big comfy couch and cozy fire place. The game room was very entertaining for the whole family. Would highly recommend this house to others and would stay here again.

Annual Get together with 15 friends

The living area/kitchen is totally perfect for groups. First time in 9 years we've been able to all sit together for meals. Kitchen was well outfitted and spacious. Lots of sitting areas inside as well as outside.

Wonderful week...

Our family stays together in the Blue Ridge area every year the week between Christmas and the New Year. It's a little difficult to find a property to give us all the space needed. This home was perfectly laid out for all of us to hang out together and also separate when we needed a little space. The grounds are wonderful and we would love to come back again when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the lake. The property manager was very easy to contact and extremely attentive. We will be back.

Family Reunion

What a stunning property! The house was very much a “ home” and we all felt comfortable. Everyone had an area where they could go for quiet time, while there were wonderful areas where we could all be together. It was perfect for our crew.

80th Birthday / Family Reunion

This was a beautiful property inside and out! We had 28 people total from age 1 to age 80 and it was comfortable for all. The game room downstairs was fun during times we could not be outdoors. Everyone who stayed commented about how wonderful the property was. I highly recommend this property if you need a place for a large crowd.

Amazing for Intimate Family Getaway

We had our close friends/family stay with us for the weekend and exchanged vows down by the water. It was perfect, private and beautiful. The rooms are all split up and there's so much space, so no one was on top of each other. The separate bar room was a life saver for keeping things organized so we could have fun downstairs and relax upstairs. It was quite and private and everything we'd hoped for.

Excellent property for team event

The property was exactly as advertised. The space was perfect for the team activities that we had planned and was clean and comfortable. During our stay the main floor HVAC system went out, when I reached out to the property manager she was super responsive and sent a technician out and we were back up and running quickly. Thank you for the responsiveness and the great property I would definitely recommend!

Great Cabin for Large Groups

Every two years, my siblings, our kids, and our parents get together...30 of us...and head somewhere. It's always a challenge to find a place that fits all of us. This place was ideal for us, especially for food prep, eating, and bedrooms. Tornados went through area the day before delaying our check-in time, but Kristy and her team had everything ready for us by late afternoon. The lake was muddy for us because of the tornados and storms, but we all had a great time.

Great Family/Friend vacation

The cabin and property were wonderful for our large group of multiple families with children of all ages. Enough room to spread out and not feel cramped. We enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake and hiking the stream nearby. Kiddos and adults loved the game room/bar area. it was nice for almost everyone to have their own room with private bath. The upstairs bunkrooms, just fyi are connected, which was fine for us. Property manager was always very quick to respond. Had firewood delivered by a local for the fire pit and outside patio. Thank you for a lovely stay .

Just wonderful

We had 16 adults and 6 children between the ages of 3-13. Everything was perfect. The property is even more beautiful in person and a perfect combination of large gathering areas, smaller books for small groups to chat, and even private areas to enjoy a book. Game room was a hit, and the giant dining room table was incredible for group meals and games. Within hours, both kids and adults were talking about booking again in the near future. Loved it! What a wonderful house

If I ever build a vacation home, I will hire this architect. The brilliant design allows the entire group to come together (there were 17 of us comfortable gathered under the gazebo) or break out into small groups. The property manager Kristy answered the phone immediately and fixed a very small issue on the spot (who keeps an extra CO2 tank on hand? Kristy.) We will absolutely book again when we have the chance.

Amazing house on a beautiful piece of property

Out group of friends have been going on a "Mountain Weekend" for 8 years now and this property was without a doubt the most beautiful! We were lucky and had great weather so we utilized the outside just as much as the inside. The bar downstairs was awesome. The commercial fridge and kegerator were a nice touch that made it feel so put together! The games were used all weekend and were all in working order except the big buck hunter and pin-ball machine. Although missed, they did not detract from the experience! We are already hoping to come back again!

Fabulous vacation!

My husband and I brought our 8 children, our 6 daughter/son in-laws and our 2 infant grandchildren to this wonderful mountain retreat for a week in early August. The home was clean and had all the amenities we could need. There was so much room for us to spread out while also having some spaces for us to all gather together comfortably. Every morning I stared at the lake watching the sunrise while rocking in the chair with one of my grandchildren. That memory will stay with me always. We set up multiple excursions but honestly all would have been happy just relaxing at the cabin. This is truly an unforgettable vacation and we look forward to coming back !

Fantastic Family Getaway

While no house or property is perfect, our family unanimously agreed that this property was absolutely perfect for us. We fit 19 people, 5 different families and three generations ranging from ages 12 to 77 in this magnificent home for five days over Thanksgiving and we have never been more thankful to be together. The bedrooms are incredibly generous, and the beds are so comfortable, there are more bathrooms than we can count, the large living room area and ginormous couch accommodated us all while watching college football or having a sing-a-long by the fire, and the basement is basically the best laid out and equipped bar you could ever imagine. Plus, the outside areas and access to canoeing and kayaking on the lake was priceless. We highly recommend this property and cannot wait to return. Thank you!!
