It’s a beautiful property with tons of room for relaxing inside and out. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were all very comfortable. I can’t think of anything I would improve about the property and it’s only a 1 mile drive to the Wolff River Inn for a fish fry and Old Fashioned. This is our second year in a row and we’ll probably be back next year.

Great location on lake. Shoreline was weedy, rocky and not very accessible. Plenty of parking, seating for entire family for meals. Hot tub was clean, great area for campfire. Only one TV in basement which was fine with our group as the weather was great and we were outdoors a lot. The cabin was beautiful and had impressive views. Pictures should be updated as they do not do it justice.

This cabin is an absolute gem! Nestled right on the lake, it offers breathtaking views morning and night. The fishing was incredible—we caught something almost every time we cast a line! Being so close to ATV trails was a huge bonus, giving us endless outdoor adventure right from our doorstep. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering great tips and ensuring our stay was perfect. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this cabin truly does. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful cabin right on the lake. The pictures did not do it justice, it was gorgeous and was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Access to the kayaks and pontoon was so great to enhance our stay. The owner met us upon check in and went through any questions we had, and stayed close to the property in case we needed help. Would love to book again.

Beyond Well Appointed

This is truly the best cabin I've stayed in. It is incredibly well appointed with everything you need. It is also clearly well cared for. The kitchen has enough equipment and dishes to feed a crowd. The bed linens are nothing short of luxurious and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. I even looked up the pillow so I can buy one for my home. Everything in this home is thougtful and well done, from the layout to the decor. The outside area has something for everyone, and the large deck is perfect for stargazing. The pictures don't do this place justice. I will say that the place is slightly hard to find with GPS, and is a street away from where the link takes you. It was easy enough to find, even in the dark, though. Jim was incredibly nice and helpful. We rented the boat which was the best pontoon I've ever been in. We also bought wood so we could have nice bonfires.

Fall Weekend riding ATV/UTV near Post Lake

We had 6 couples stay at the log cabin on Post Lake. The house exceeded our expectations. We rode UTV's during the day right from the property and enjoyed the beautiful home in the evenings.

Jim and Rasa are great hosts. The property is excellent for larger groups. Beautiful back yard, excellent lake access and amenities. We recommend it to anyone looking for a larger group gathering.

Northwoods Escape

WOW! Memories made in this beautiful home. Very clean and well appointed. Everything you need is there!! My adult kids and grandchildren had plenty of space to spread out. Very comfortable beds and bedrooms. Now for the outside...private and lush! Morning coffee on the wide deck overlooking the lake. Water sports, hot tub and a fantastic golf course close by (Bass Lake Golf Course). Should you need anything, there is a grocery store a few miles away. Can't wait to go back!!!

Amazing Hosts and Beautiful Property

This is hands down the best rental experience I’ve had. The hosts are fantastic. They accommodate you and your every need and are such a friendly couple. The house is immaculate and very beautiful inside and out. I’d stay here again in a heart beat. The pictures don’t even do the house or property justice. It’s Gorgeous!

Bothersome

The owners where over non stop, hot tub don’t work, charges for firewood… $100 a bundle. Asked for cash to use boat and demanded it. Instead of just adding it to bill. Would not rent here again. They then asked if someone took a sheet off the bed and wanted to charge for that. Showed up on time owners were there and said we were early. Had to show them the text that verified the time for check in.
