"This property needs a severe overhaul. Everything is old and dirty. Kitchen cupboards are falling apart, bathroom is the worst I have ever been in. Shower small, toilet seat old and a hole in it, actual toilet dirty and stained....horible. We were supposed to be there for 5 nights, lucky we got delayed a night and then friends were leaving early from their accommodation and let us stay there. This place could be amazing if some time and money was spent on it. Definitely not worth what we paid....

"Amazing villa, by far the best we have stayed at. Spotlessly clean with every amenity we could have wished for. We enjoyed the huge shaded area which was perfect for chilling with a book or drying off after a swim. The local beach is very small but great for a swim or a snorkel. The directions to the villa were great and kept us off the rough tracks which a sat nav can take you via. We enjoyed the taverna at Avithos beach which has great food and lovely views. We definitely hope to return!"

"The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room we stayed in was just ok. We did not like the fact that the only garbage can in the room was the same one you had to dispose of your toilet paper in, since you are not supposed to flush those down the toilet. Also the breakfast that was included served cold eggs and crepes. The salt was a communal salt in a bowl and not in a shaker. "We have just finished our 3rd visit to St John’s villas. Always requested & stayed in the 3 bedroom orchid villa. Excellent bedroom sizes, 3 bathrooms (2ensuite) amazing pool area. Daily minimal housekeeping, change towels, remove rubbish & make beds etc. Had an issue with the main en-suite bathroom as they have removed the Bath & replaced with a huge shower. Unfortunately the shower didn’t drain away at all and had to visit reception 3 times. Visiting again at the end of October so...

"This property is a hidden gem!! The facilities are spectacular, and the owners and staff are wonderful! The beach area is so peaceful and shallow, it’s like a salt water pool. "It was a great vacation for us. The location and size of the apartment is amazing. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms, it was super old and there was no fan or window to open so it would get wet from taking shower and no way to get rid of that mess. "Absolutely stunning hotel, with great design aesthetic. It's an oasis of calm in quite a hectic area. Lovely pool areas and the food at breakfast and dinner (we went half board) was delicious. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options in the evening. The gym was small, but adequate (had Smith and cable machines). The bed was on the small side, at 6'4" / 193cm, I hung off the end but that was the only niggle!"

"This hotel surpassed our expectations. The staff are friendly; nothing is ever too much trouble. You will never have a lift a finger. My husband and I stayed for a milestone anniversary and the team made this stay incredibly special. - Amazing breakfast (really special) from 8am. Food can be cooked to order and there is a buffet serving greek options - you can have both. Plus you can help yourself to prosecco and different flavoured water. - Exceptional restaurant serving local cuisine onsite open from 7:00pm. - Early breakfast available if you need it (we had to leave for a tour at 7:15 on our first morning) we pre-ordered the night we arrived and it was ready for when we got to the restaurant. - Lovely pool bar with "snack menu" serving more casual full meals for when the restaurant is closed during the day - Twice daily housekeeping - Pool towels changed without you asking - Room service available to match the restaurant or bar menu (depending on the time). - we had a swim up suite; this was a huge luxury for us; when you step outside your room, there is a pool deck leading to a shared infinity pool. This pool is shared with only a few other rooms so it feels very private and romantic. - I will praise the staff again. Each member of staff greets you warmly, I even had recommendations for what to try from the buffet breakfast. The team really does go out of their way to make your stay as hassle free as possible. They tell you how everything works. Its the smoothest service"
