"The most Basic room that I can remember ever renting.
No air, so small that the toilet and shower were in the same room.
They allowed me to "upgrade to one with air. The bed took up 80% of the room. The toilet and shower were in a different room.
The air was only in the bedroom but it was not problematic.
The staff were great. The problem was the facilities"

"The hotel was sparse but absolutely clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to restaurants, and staff gave me a great rundown of restaurant options. The morning coffee in the lobby was outstanding, and the garden was peaceful. A simple, lovely first night in Costa Rica."
