It was a nice homey type of hotel feel and the customer service good! I did have problems with the air in my room so I got moved to another room and it felt alittle better but the air flow wasn’t strong but overall I enjoyed my stay!

The front desk guy Amin was extremely helpful getting checked in and thoroughly lining us up for the weekend. The only downside with the unit we had was the low headroom in the tv sitting area which I knocked my head oh twice pretty hard and I’m under 6 feet tall, we would definitely stay here again

We pre-paid this stay. I chose this hotel for that reason to simply travel for an older relative. We were surprised by the security deposit. It was paid and still has not been returned. The staff was not friendly or welcoming. The room was just OK (comfort and cleanliness). Better to charge a bit more and address issues. Charming location otherwise.

Overall, the stay was okay but had a few inconveniences. The room itself was clean, which was a plus. However, the towels were worn and didn’t feel very fresh. There’s no parking area available, which can be an issue depending on your situation. The room does not include a coffee maker or a microwave, but there is a shared kitchen downstairs that guests can use. If you’re traveling with luggage, keep in mind there is no elevator to the second floor. That said, the stairs aren’t too difficult to manage. It’s a decent option if you’re not expecting too many amenities and don’t mind a few limitations.

Boxtel Hotel was exactly what we were looking for during our stay in downtown El Paso. The check-in process was fast and easy, thanks to Amin at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and provided some excellent dinner recommendations that made our first night in town even better. One of the things that impressed me most was how quiet the hotel was. It's located very close to the baseball stadium, yet we couldn't hear any stadium noise at all. We enjoyed a great night's sleep on a comfortable bed. If you're looking for a clean, efficient, and well-located hotel, this place delivers. The restroom was spotless, the shower had fantastic water pressure, and everything felt well-maintained. My wife especially appreciated the variety of coffee options available in the lobby. This isn't a luxury resort, and that's exactly the point. There are no unnecessary extras like in-room microwaves, refrigerators, or oversized closets taking up space. Instead, Boxtel focuses on the essentials and does them very well. The location is excellent, with easy access to downtown attractions and the highway. For travelers who value cleanliness, comfort, convenience, and a quiet stay over unnecessary frills, Boxtel Hotel is an outstanding choice.

Boxtel El Paso is a minimalist joy!

We had to vacate our home due to asbestos, but needed to take care of removing clothing and personal items (which took longer than expected). We have been "camping out" at Boxtel in El Paso, TX for three weeks now. While they offer room servicING, they do not have a restaurant for traditional room service ... but they have a common-use kitchen with a microwave and communal refrigerator (mark your food). We found that an electric skillet from home was sufficient to cook a variety of packaged and home-cooked meals. (I understand that they have a cook-top out for repair.) This hotel reminds me of a hostel, with linen-changing service by request and a friendly, helpful staff. Only down-side is lack of a dresser, so we're living out of suitcases & boxes.
