"The room is not clean and needs maintenance and cleaning; it does not match the listing on the app."

"The rooms are outdated and with little comforts (for example, two bedside tables but only one lamp, very small bathroom with nowhere to place a wash bag). It’s also not the cleanest: there were spider nets full of dead insects, the shower curtain had mould, there were small ants everywhere. But the staff is friendly and helpful; the cooked breakfast is good (with some egg dishes and local cuisine options). It’s also a 10-min easy walk to the airport so no need for taxi. The sound isolation is poor but we found this to be an issue everywhere. At least this place is in a quiet part of town so the noises will be only from guests, not from the road."

"We loved our stay in the family room. Super clean, great shower. AC worked great. The owner and son (I believe) were super helpful. A spoke English which was appreciated. They have a water cooler in the office where you can fill your bottles or get water to cook/make coffee on the small stove. We walked to the Main Street area in 10 minutes, lots of options for meals, small convenience stores, ATM and tour offices."

"The photos on Expedia do NOT reflect the reality of this place. We didn’t even stay there and probably won’t be reimbursed. It was horrible, run down , poorly working a/c, non working safe, far away from the port, the hot tub was empty and the plaster eroding, I can go on and on…there are far superior places for less money closer to town. I Seriously urge you, DO NOT be fooled by the photos and phony ( they HAVE to be phony) 9/10 ratings!! This place truly deserves 0/ 10. I feel cheated. Ended up at Miconia which was very nice! Run as fast as you can from Eco Friendly. ¡PRONTO!"

"Pros: Our room was clean and comfortable, The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and included eggs or an omelet made to order. The location is fantastic, moments away from sea lions and the port. Con’s: bed was noisy."

"In a great location being a 10 minute walk from the airport, as well as a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The room is extremely clean with an excellent bathroom with good hot water. The air conditioning unit works extremely well, and there is a supermarket a stone’s throw away from the hotel. Being family run, they will go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. We forgot our passports when we checked out and they managed to send them to the next island by air mail making a stressful situation extremely stress free. "
