"This is a lovely property that is very close to the beach and a 5 min cycle ride to Monte Gordo. There is also a nearby shop attached to a cafe that is perfect for essentials. The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"House was perfect for our situation. Just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Within close driving distance to many restaurants. Fantastic bakery within a 5 minute walk. As North Americans, we were shocked that no amenities were provided such as beach towels, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, shampoo etc. I guess that it is not common in Europe to provide those things. They are things that we cannot bring all that way in our luggage. We made it work though. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The villa is just as described. Rod was very helpful, allowing us to check in early and check out late. We loved the pool and the many shaded areas as the temperatures were very high while we were there. The only negatives were lack of restaurants within easy walking distance and occasional sharp barking from next doors dogs."

"Amazing experience at this property. We felt welcomed and really enjoyed making bbq and swimming in the pool. You do need a car to get to this property, but you will not be disappointed."

"We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...

"La limpieza deja mucho que desear, pero en general todo, no hay menaje del hogar y lo que hay está roto, los cuchillos,etc. No hay un simple escurridor, las sartenes viejas y grasientas al igual que toda la cocina. En el salón no hay persiana, ni un simple visillo, ni toldo, ni una simple sombrilla, la parte del patio no está cerrada y pasa toda la urbanización cuando estas comiendo o cenando, las sillas de la terraza son de bar incomodísimas, y si las da el sol queman. "The hotel catered very much for the Spanish, by that I mean the times of the restaurants - breakfast 8 - 11am, lunch 1.30 - 3.30pm and dinner 8 - 11. So if you are an early riser or have children ! We have lived in Spain so didn't bother us too much. Pools also didn't open until 11am which was disappointing as it was so hot. The food was repetitive but good. Location was fantastic right by local marshes that are a parc natural. Cleanliness was very good and housekeeping team were fantastic. Staff in general were friendly. Overall a great stay"
