Was in a Privilege Master Suite oceanfront Rooftop. Room was very nice, yes there is work that needs done, mainly to the wooden doors, they are pretty beat up, my guess is from the amount of moisture in the room. all of the art that was in the room has been removed except for 1 piece which obviously has moisture damage to it. They do have dehumidifiers in the living and bedroom that needs to be emptied out several times a day, usually fills up within a few hours. Enjoyed the jacuzzi on the rooftop with the amazing view, used it every morning and a couple of evenings. The oceanfront pool is nice, had no complaints along with the pool outside of building 4 which is the oceanfront building. The only other pool we used is the Privilege pool. It definitely needs some work, and would suggest water shoes in that pool, a lot of loose gravel / sand which is what the walls and floor are made of. I was not impressed with the buffet but we ate at all of the restaurants except for the Mexican and they were all very good. Every morning at Privilege restaurant had the eggs benedict, along with a couple of items from their buffet. Would I return, yes, especially if they fixed the flooring of the Privilege pool. Oh and drinks, if your Privilege, you need to make sure to ask for the top shelf liquor if you want it, if not they will pour the cheap stuff.

Resort itself was clean and had friendly staff but lacked variety when it came to the food. The buffet was subpar and since there were only 3 restaurants on site, reservations were very hard to get, especially with a larger group. We found ourselves eating more at the sushi bar and grill by the pool. Don’t expect the refrigerator to be ice cold. Apparently, it only keeps beverages slightly above room temperature. I had to nurse my baby because there was no way I could pump and keep my milk in the fridge without it spoiling. Overall, the resort and experience was a 6/10. Great for a getaway but probably would choose a different resort if I went back to Mexico.
