Hotel Runavik

10/10 Excellent

"A very good hotel in the Faroes, offering great value for money. Clean and tidy throughout, quiet, with curtains in the room, comfortable beds, and a substantial breakfast—everything you need."

visitHOMES Faroe Islands

10/10 Excellent

"My stay was an amazing experience! Lilja is a wonderful host, and I really enjoyed talking with her about life in the Faroe Islands, her travels, and getting to know her family. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and welcoming. Lilja also offered excellent recommendations for places to visit and shared information about local events happening across the islands. Breakfast was another highlight. She served locally inspired foods and shared the stories behind them, which made the experience even more special. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend staying with Lilja to anyone visiting the Faroe Islands!"

Traditional Cabin with Sea View

10/10 Excellent

"Whoa, when they say "Cabin" it literally is. But with all the typical amenities you'll find in an established Hotel. (taller people, don't forget to "duck") doorways are lower. Otherwise very cozy and comfortable. Just right off the main road, but quiet. Very Highly recommended. M"

Luxury villa in Leynar

10/10 Excellent

"This is my second trip to the Faroe Islands and I’ve stayed in the same area both times. This property was stunning! Very easy to get around from this location. The hosts were very communicative and easy to deal with. We had no troubles at all. I highly recommend this house. It was beautiful! We were able to easily get in to Torsvan for dinners and lunches when we wanted, and we also went to the grocery store and cooked wonderful meals at home. The views and proximity to the ocean was perfect."

Unique Boathouse - Central - Kajak - Fitness

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay, thank you. Convenient location, however the only downside was that only afterwards we realised that the cost of Eysturoyartunnilin was not included in our unlimited tunnels extra that we added with our car rental but that was on us for not checking this. However we had a great stay, kitchen was well equipped and not had any issues with anything. Thank you"

Luxurious Farm House | Á Snætu | Unique

10/10 Excellent

"It was a beautiful stay. We loved staying in the smaller town, great easy hikes all around, super walkable. The bus stop is right down the hill and easy to reach from all the surrounding cities. I recommend renting a car, as the bus schedule can be limited and taxis can be very pricey. The house was so amazing, I would recommend caution as the stairs are quite steep and could be hazardous for anyone with mobility issues. All in all, amazing. Thank you!"
