Cute little room

Great location, nice and quiet but easy to get to city centre. They were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Schöne Lage direkt am Park, ruhige Gegend, Bushaltestelle gleich vor der Haustür. Zimmer war sauber, bequemes grosses Bett, jedoch keine Duschmittel oder Shampoo vorhanden. Frühstück nichts spezielles, aber ok. Personal könnte freundlicher sein.

The couple who run the hotel are really nice felt sorry for them as the had a leek over the breakfast room so could not supply breakfast overall a very good stay would use again

A little bit far from the center of Edinburgh but the bus is in front of the hotel driving you there. Breakfast starts only at 8:00am which was unfortunate for me because I had to leave at 7:30am every morning. Lastly, it is a little inconvenient that there is no one from the hotel past 9:30pm and before 8:00am because I was leaving before someone arrived and coming back after 9:30pm and had something to ask for the room and could never ask because I saw no one.

Scozzese in tutto

Albergo a 3 km dal centro, ma con poche fermate di aitobus e un biglietto giornaliero acquistabile a bordo per 4 pound si può fare. Il primo giorno sono saltate le pulizie. La colazione era a buffet continentale,... ma un continentale scozzese, in pratica scadente assai.

Très petite chambre, très très petite salle d'eau (le lavabo est en fait un lave mains). La litterie est bonne et la chambre est propre. Le continental breakfast est tout ce qu'il y a de banal et le café est ... Britannique. L'accueil n'est pas des plus chaleureux.

Almost perfect hotel

The place is great and convenient. The only thing that was not so good is that there is no one in reception during nights and early morning. We would have liked to have breakfast at 7 am and we would have liked to see someone for the checkout at that time and also the check in after 9 pm.

Hotel is about a 10min bus ride or 30im walk into the centre so location was good. There are shops and a Tesco within a 5min walk. My room was a good size but much in need of a make over. The tiny TV was a funny colour, not very clear. The bed was comfy, but would be good to have another pillow. Room temp was fine. The bathroom was tiny, but for one person was fine (I had a single room). It was pretty clean. The breakfast was basic (no cooked breakfast) but was enough for me. The host wasn't the friendliest person. It was good they held my bag for me until check in though.
