「We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. 「This little cottage is very rustic. Location is close to everything in Tawas. Had everything we needed only dowside was the stove had 2 burners we couldn't get to operate and the hot water wasn't constant and had a couple of cold showers. The views are just as posted it is the first cabin off the road so there is absolutely No breeze! It can get very warm.
