"I stayed her for 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay. It is about a 20 minutes drive from Egilsstaðir and nice and quiet location near the lake. Comfortable room for a solo traveler. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Breakfast staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcome. Reasonably priced when I stayed there. Would stay there again for sure."

There is a restaurant on site that we dined at for dinner. The food was delicious and well priced. There is a lounge area where you can use if you want to be out of your room. We were greeted at the door by the owner (I wish I knew his name) He told us stories about the area, suggested sites to see, told us about when he worked on a fishing vessel... We thoroughly enjoyed listing to his stories. The room, though not very big, was clean, and everything was in good working order. It felt like we were staying with friends at their house. We had a room with an attached bathroom....
