"Out room had a view toward the glacier and the briefly setting sun. Our room was spacious and clean. We had dinner and breakfast too. Both were very good."

"Stayed here for 1 night of our road trip along the ring road for our honeymoon and it was lovely! Plenty of parking, the room was very clean and nice with a beautiful view of the mountains! Everything from the rooms to common areas seem to have been very recently updated with nice design. The staff was incredibly lovely and kind, they even left a cute little postcard in our room with a handwritten note congratulating us on our wedding/honeymoon! Such a sweet touch. Very close to the cute little town of Hofn, about 10 minutes by car. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in hofn!"

"Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Probably should advertise that it is a dormitory type lodging so guests aren’t too surprised when they get there. Unless I missed that in the description. Even so, a great place to stay the night."

"We wish we had more time to stay at this property during our trek around Iceland's Ring Road. The accommodations were beautiful, staff were super friendly and helpful, the restaurant was one of the best meals we had during our 2-week trip, and the hot tubs overlooking the beautiful landscape were an extremely nice touch. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Iceland in the future!"

"The hotel was the perfect stay for us during our trip along the Ring Road. Accommodations were super clean, the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was superb, and the staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here again if we ventured to the area on a future vacation!"

"The family cottage we stayed in was nice; it was clean and had a nice couch and sitting area. The small kitchen was also very useful for making an early breakfast, since we left before the complimentary breakfast was served. The only detractor is that this place is very far from Egilstadir. The drive is on miles and miles of bumpy gravel roads to get there - at least a half an hour from Egilstaddir. I recommend any traveler ensure that they know this. On the other hand, it is a good place from which to venture out to Hafnarholmi in Bogarfjurdor Eystri to see the puffins at night, and a great place to launch out from to go to Studagil Canyon."
