「We've enjoyed our stay at the kirby. The view is breathtaking .Kitchen is fully stocked but some of the utensils have broken handles. But it wasnt a big deal. One of the upstair room have no air conditioner so it gets warm on a hot days. Overall we love the kirby and plan to come back next fall.」

「We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!! 」

「The cottage is absolutely perfect! It was just the right size for our family of 4, plus our dog. The location is very quiet at the end of a road with beautiful views. The cottage is very comfortable with just enough modern updates. The private beach is shared with the other homes on the road but not crowded.
