"Recently returned from a short break at Wildgoose Cottage. The cottage is deceptively spacious, warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It is ideally situated just off the Cleveland Way to walk into Whitby, a flat walk approx 45-50 minutes or to Robin Hoods Bay a more undulating walk approx 2.5 hours, both with fantastic views. "What a wonderful apartment! It lacked nothing we needed, all good quality too. It is located quite near Whitby centre, but up a steep hill. The owner Kerry was super helpful.parking was a bit difficult owing to an inconsiderate driver parking in the unloading area for two days, but we had a great stay and would highly recommend this apartment."

"Very well presented little cottage. There are a few different cottages here, we stayed in Valencourt. Quality furnishings and fittings, was very comfortable and cosy for a family of 4. Only frustration was the showers. Very difficult to get the right temp for the kids. (I think its to do with the hot water pressure) Even so it didn't spoil our stay, lovely touch with welcome pack in the kitchen, tea, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fresh orange juice and biscuits. Our only disappointment was the lack of the BBQ as we had meals planned and food bought! You pay extra for views, but it is worth it: it is the best view you are going to get anywhere in Whitby.
