The tranquility of the fire, and water in the background was just what we needed. Peaceful stay - perfect master suite with fireplace and deck.

This house was amazing! The setting is stunningly beautiful. The house is wonderfully clean, charmingly decorated, and the beds are really comfortable. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place!
Great place to relax and enjoy the quite outdoors. Friendly small town and many opportunities to experience, such as the near-by State Parks and feeding the Alpacas.
This stay is very nice. The house is lovely, very comfortable and well equipped. The property is very pretty, not far from town, but still rural, so it's quiet and peaceful. The pond has some great fish, we had a wonderful time fishing.
Amazing place to settle in especially when raining.
Loved the accommodations and ease of communication with owner. Area absolutely beautiful. Accommodations best I’ve experienced in a good long while. Definitely going back.
This property is perfect for a getaway with hiking and downtime from the day-to-day stresses. The cabin is clean, adorable, and the views of both the creek, and the pond are amazing. It is close to great hiking in both World’s End State Park, and Ricketts Glenn State Park.
Would definitely stay here again.
Clean beautiful house great location! Not far from the state parks where you can hike fish swim! The pond on the property is loaded with blue gil if you just want to catch something, caught a few large mouth bass so they are In there! Beautiful relaxing quiet! Highly recommend!
This place was one of the best stays I've ever had! Can't rave enough of how clean, serene, quiet and beautiful this property is. Communication was quick and everything was as advertised. Will definitely be back!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable! The stream and pond were lovely and we really enjoyed the laid back fishing every evening. It was easy to kick back and relax and we loved the covered deck! Thank you so much!
Nice accommodations, beds were super comfy! Dog friendly, they had a great time exploring the back yard woods and stream. My boyfriend enjoyed being able to fish in the pond. Neighbors were very friendly too.
Lovely house and a great quiet location. The pond is out front with lots of birds including a trio of belted kingfishers and you get a babbling stream outback.
Close to the very small town of Benton. Nice spacious bedrooms. Putting on our rotation of places to stay.
Found the lodge to be exactly as advertised. I appreciated the cleanliness of the spaces both inside and outside showing the owner’s care. Whether for a personal retreat or a family vacation I would recommend the lodge. I’ll be back!
The lodge is very comfortable and welcoming and is located in a quiet and peaceful setting. We enjoyed sitting by the pond and stream and just taking in the serenity of the property. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed for our stay was provided in the lodge. We were a short drive from state parks where we spent our days hiking. The waterfall hike in Ricketts Glen was spectacular the day after a heavy thunderstorm. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lodge!
Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was cozy, the location was great, it felt remote which was what we wanted, and it was clean. The property was well stocked with wood for the fire, it had courtesy items like TP, paper towels, trash bags, kitchen items like pots and pans, and some condiment items. It had towels too (but we always bring our own). We hiked some really great trails in the surrounding state parks, and had an all around great time. Dog friendly too, which was a huge plus. Would stay here again.
Great stay very quiet. Brook in back of lodge great to listen to while sitting by fire pit. Great fishing in pond was very relaxing. Enjoyed seeing frogs, turtles, beaver, crane coming in for a fish or a visit. Puppy had lots of running room and new things to investigate. Very private place and clean and well kept. It's are second stay here we enjoyed ourselves. Close by is Lake Jean and Hunter Lake and Rickets Glen
We wanted a place quiet and pet friendly and we got it. It was very quiet and the dog was playing Frisbee in the creek or the pond the whole time and was totally exhausted!!!! The house was immaculate and my wife loved the way it was decorated. She would like to back again.
well equipped kitchen and linens, nice furniture. Secluded but close enough to town to be convenient for groceries.
Odd layout, with only a powder room for downstairs bedroom guest and 3rd bedroom is unenclosed. But, for just two, it was very fine. clean as a whistle! Host was very helpful with a couple very, very minor problems.
My friend said, “maybe I’ll come here on my honeymoon!”
So relaxing, clean, and beautiful scenery! Group of middle aged women spending a fabulous weekend together! Karen is wonderful! This was our third year for a weekend getaway and I love that the new person said, NEXT YEAR WHEN WE COME…. 😃 there is no looking for a different place to stay! Thanks again, Karen 💕
This is the third time I have stayed here, and it never disappoints! Clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and peaceful. If we are ever to come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again.
While we did not do it this time, for anyone interested in hiking, Rickets Glen is fairly close. One of our favorite hikes! I would rate it moderate, as there are a lot of stairs, etc, but it is really beautiful, with over 20 waterfalls!
Our host, Karen, was great to deal with, and very helpful and attentive. We left some thing behind by mistake, and she was nice enough to mail it back to us. Thank you Karen!
