"The location and staff were fantastic. I feel the nightly price was way too high for the very basic amenities and not extremely clean room. There is a $14.99 daily fee that they don’t tell you about unless you scan the QR code that is behind the keys in the envelope they give you at check in. It explains that the fee covers bottled water, coffee service, pool, as well as some discounts at area businesses. But, our room had no waters, the pool looked nice but it’s off season, the coffee is available in the lobby but they don’t tell out that. I did ask about it, especially no water in the room and they waived the fee. But it’s something to be mindful of. Additionally, the AC is on some kind of timer, we lowered it so the room would be cool when we got back from being out, I woke up in the middle of the night sweating to the setting being at 85*. I lowered it again to 68* and when we woke up in the morning it was at 75*. When I first learned of unscripted, I was excited, seemed like a very cool spot, with kitschy vibes but they missed the mark or dropped their standards since opening. "

"Super dirty, bathtub was clogged, light fixtures broken(like glass actual broken), gum on carpet in room, beetle on ceiling, everything smelled like cigarettes and cigarette butts in the elevator. Staff was not helpful arrived late with kids and when I asked where near parking to my room was the guy at the front told me a located where the door was locked and no entry so has to walk around the building at 1am to come to another door and elevator that was broken to had to walk to other side of building to find another elevator that worked. Traveling alone with my kids this was not fun. In the morning I went to get coffee in the lobby at 9am, was ignored by the front desk(on reels in their phone) when I asked if they had coffee out she said in your room. I went back to the room to find the coffeemaker broken and the coffee opened and partially used. We were only there a few hours and were so excited to leave. We are not too picky when it comes to hotels but this place was crazy scary and dirty. Makes a good story…but I would not stay again. "

"The hotel is older, but well maintained and clean. Unique hotel, felt very safe and the area was nice. Did not have a freezer, but was perfect for a quick overnight stay."

"I was warmly greeted by Wilmar (sp). She made it so we could check in early and go swimming. The pool and hot tub were refreshing. Maybe she had to dig deep to get us an early room because the room had no lotion, hair dryer Clock or phone. We thought that was a bit weird. The hook for the towel in the bathroom was too high for kids to reach. Donut Ducks down the street was awesome. We enjoyed walking to Freddy’s for dinner. There’s also a Panera near by. "

"Staff were very professional and friendly, from the valet to the check in and check out people, to each housekeeping staff member we passed by. Bed was not great. Nice, spacious room and bathroom. "

"Enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel. Plenty of parking. ❤️the fridge and microwave in the room. Free parking and a shuttle if you don’t have a car. Breakfast came free. Would definitely stay again. "
