Clean, with nice staff just VERY dated. Noisy as next to busy road. Plus @ 2:30 in the morning it sounded like someone was using a weedwacker outside. Paid for the breakfast which was really good with alot of choices & hot cooked food. The Salon where they served food was beautifully decorated. If only the rooms & rest of hotel could look like that.

The breakfast times were not convenient, and the lobby is not great if you are with a group that would like to hang out. They often had any lobby area closed. The room was clean, but very bare. Depending on what activities you are looking for, the location was convenient. Great if you are headed to the Braehead arena.

Very conveniently located to Loch Lomond & the highlands. The staff (Alistair, Faith, & George, to name a few) were professional, friendly, and accommodating. The dining room was bright & neat & clean. The food was very nice and there was a wide variety to choose from for dinner. This is an older hotel, but everything worked. The soundproofing was excellent! Could not hear the motorway or people in adjacent rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel was full.

The walkway to the front door needs to be kept tidy it just looked a tad shabby. Even inside the front door always looked like it was never swept. The gardens could be spruced up a tad. The staff were extremely helpful and were always with a smile and asking if everything was ok, That I do like as I was in customer service for many years and appreciate friendly staff. The floor in the toilet could be replaced as it looked like it was rather moldy looking. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows as well, The food was plentiful but could have been a bit warmer. Again, the staff made the stay for us. So the owners should be proud of them, but I think its time to spend a few pounds and make it look more professional. Kind regards Anne

Kitchen staff very surly the evening we arrived about having to cook dinner for us. They tried to refuse service, even though their stated opening hours were for more than an hour after we arrived, and they kept giving us dirty looks through the open kitchen hatch. Front of house was excellent. The issue was the kitchen staff.

Staff were welcoming and helping us to locate a laundromat. We couldn't check in early unless we paid a fee so we went off for an hour. Room comfortable although with Premier Inn there's a sense of not all Premier inns are maintained the same. Walls scuffed, carpet looks scuffy and worn. The cleaner came barging in at 9am our room had been ticked off already as we have left. We hadn't. Much apologies, showing the board to where it supposedly we had checked out.
