This hotel is in a pretty touristy area, which was fine with us, though I could see how some might find that to be a drawback. We liked the wealth of taxis and ATMs that could be found in the area.
We also liked the closeness of the Tesco for drinks and snacks to take on our adventures. It's right across the street and open until pretty late.
The street is a little loud, but they provided ear plugs which made it a non-issue. I would recommend that travelers who need silence to sleep use the provided ear plugs, or bring their own.
We bought the breakfast package, which was actually fantastic. The food is pretty good, it's an open buffet, and having one meal a day already accounted for did save us some money.
Bruskers, the attached restaurant, was not particularly good, I'm afraid. We appreciated the discount but it was still expensive for food that was only "okay." We went to Bruskers more often to use the ATM than to eat.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was blissfully large and comfortable. Everything was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. Overall a great experience, pretty much perfect for our needs!
