"La Bastide is a great Provençal hotel in an amazing and quiet area. The place is surrounded by trees, vineyard, a farm and piece of arts. Next to the Bastide, 10/15 mn by walk, you have the winery the Commanderie de Peyrassol. The vineyard is stunning. Within the vineyard, you have two restaurants, check Jeanette a gastronomy restaurant with great food and the Bistrou Lou for more casual food. Both restaurants are great and in a great location. "The food at the on site restaurant was incredible and the staff were very accommodating getting us a reservation as hotel guests on a busy evening. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the town and shopping "

"Beautiful property and well kept pool, lounge, bar, lawn area. The little lodge was tastefully decorated, neat and clean, kitchen well appointed, with a private outdoor area for dining and lounging although we much preferred the area by the pool. Grounds were also walkable. Relaxing place in middle of countryside, we made the right choice!"

"These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday...

"I had a very friendly greeting by the host and she gave me great advice for a beautiful hike at Verdon gorge. The property is very charming and surrounded by wonderful scenery. I woukd gladly stay here again. The only downside is no AC (my stay was in late July when it was very hot) but it cools down nicely in the evening, so it was manageable "
