"The house is pretty nice. It’s in a great location very close to the beach. However, there were two major concerns. The first one being that there are cockroaches in the house. I went to them about it and they tried to tell me it was a water bug with jagged legs When anybody knows what a water bottle looks like they don’t have jagged legs so they basically just brush that off and then after a while offer to send to pest control another thing the air conditioner does not work well at all. It was 86 to 88 in the house and impossible to get it to cool down in there other than that the stain was nice. However, there were orange rings on the carpet in one of the bedrooms and some weird gross stuff on one of the pillows but overall it is a nice house if they would just take care of a few things and not blow customers off that spent thousands of dollars to stay there"

"The Carte’s were extremely pleased with our stay for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. The house was amazing, clean and Phil was extremely helpful with answering our questions about the area. The best part of our trip was by far the wild horses and the seclusion of the Rusty Crab. We recommend booking a visit at this house and giving it a 10 out of 10!!!"

"We had an incredible stay at the Mark Twain Oceanfront home from March 2 to March 4. The property was spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for our group getaway. The amenities were exactly what we were looking for—plenty of room for everyone to spread out, a fully stocked kitchen, a private pool and hot tub, and direct beach access just steps from the back door.One of the most magical parts of our stay was seeing the wild horses right outside the property! It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch them roam freely along the dunes and shoreline. It added such a peaceful and surreal vibe to our mornings and evenings.The house itself was clean and well-equipped, and we appreciated the multiple entertainment areas and the convenience of the elevator, especially for our older guests. The ocean views from the deck were absolutely breathtaking—we could’ve spent all day out there."
