No parking available and smoking smell everywhere in the room. No body at the reception. So difficult to find parking anywhere

Expedia should not categorize it as a hotel. There is NO daily cleaning. Secondly when Expedia filters hotels for criteria like airconditioning , they will include a stay that sponsored but no aircon. This is classified as a 3 star hotel. The furniture that is used to meet the criteria is of post world war II vintage. The cleanliness rating of this stay is negative. The dirt under the bed is disgusting. Do not be misled by the pictures in Expedia. Filters were used to improve the lighting and the look of the furniture because it is dark inside the room and all the furniture have very old paint and scratches. The rooms are not airy, clean and bright as shown in Expedia. The bathtub had black spots because the white paint chipped off. The sink drain clogged after one minute of use. The location is not a 5 minute walk to the golf resort due to the difference in altitude. It is a downhill walk to the golf course entrance, then it is an uphill climb to the golf course itself. It is not a 19 minute walk from Evian Casino back to Zeniture even for an athlete who has to manage a 100 meter altitude difference when walking back up. I decided to rent a car since there was no public transportation aside from uber and taxis.

The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Geneva and a convenient location to access the small towns and wineries in Lavaux. Across the street is a train stop and a walking path along the lake that takes you to a park with easy lake access for swimming. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

All the staff really went out of their way. I know that lots of reviews say this, but I needed to ask lots of the staff while I happened to be there and nothing was too much trouble. They were always friendly and smiling and happy. Could not recommend more highly.
