"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is nestled on the side of a mountain with a beautiful view of the valley. The cabin is small-ish but not cramped. The fire pit area was wonderful & we took advantage of it several nights. The skies are dark during a new moon which made for some great stargazing. "I booked this place as a surprise anniversary get away. We loved our stay here. We enjoyed staying in watching The Lord of the Rings right next to the beautiful hobbit door! We also enjoyed venturing out to some great State Parks: Less than 10 minutes from Lake Dardanelle and about 45 min from Petit Jean. The Hobbit House also seemed like it would be a great getaway for a family or friends who love Tolkien. Kitchen is great if you want to cook your own meals and the couches and bed are comfy....

"Loved the cabin and loved the care that Sheri put into it. It felt like home. Be sure to check out the books in the sunroom, we found some amazing waterfalls and will be purchasing that book to better plan our trip back. Even made use of the hiking sticks and were glad we had them. Cabin was clean and well stocked for our needs...even had plenty of quality toilet paper, not the cheap stuff most cabins use.
