"It was a last minute booking, for only one night. When we arrived we were shown our room, which was beautiful and the view incredible. We had dinner in the tavern across the road. "One of the best family and regional small hotel we have visited in 20 years in Crete. They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. "Very poor English skills and absolute zero knowledge of other languages can be challenging for guests who do not speak English. The pool is miniature, shallow, and there is a huge lack of order regarding sunbed reservation (be prepared that some jerk will simply throw away your towels and lie on your sunbed while you are in the restroom or getting a drink, and the staff won't do anything about it). The animation program is also very poor. The food is repetitive, but you won't stay hungry. Local drinks are terrible, juices are overly sweet, and you won't see a lemon even in traces. You cannot get a fresh lemonade even for money. The guy who drives the golf cart to the beach (better known as Habibi) is an absolute gem of a man. The rooms are clean, and the maid comes every day. You only get water upon arrival; later you have to buy it. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are charged. Realistically, I would barely give this hotel three stars."
