La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. It’s not super fancy, so don’t expect the four seasons, but it’s a great place to stay, highly recommend. "

"C'est un bel appartement, bien situé géographiquement. La piscine est agréable et utilisable jusqu'à 22h. Les 3 chambres climatisées. La cuisine est bien équipée de même que le salon. "Incorrect information shared about the deposit between booking emails and then arriving to check in. Rooms were nice and fresh but missing a lot of basics for a self catering room with cooking facilities. Beds were like wooden boards and had no comfort whatsoever. Noise between rooms was unbearable and had no sound protection, especially with an over noisy neighbour "

"We stayed a week at a Helgafell suite in the beginning of November. The suite was in two floors with a sundeck on roof. Modern interior, 2 BR, 2 bath and one toilet. The house in located in the Allegra gated community, pools in the area (not heated). Everything worked well, friendly and helpful host. Parking in the community area and street parking available. Good internet. Grocery stores within walking distance, restaurants, pubs and other stores in the town."

"The staff's service and attention were great! They just need to watch out for a few small things in room 724: the bathrobe was torn, the slippers were both for the same foot and looked used, the bedspread had loose threads, the sink had some cracks, and the toilet paper holder was a bit loose. "
