「Excellent attentive service from a top class receptionist. The hotel is full of character with nice gardens. Food was good. Rooms comfortable despite a creaky bed. Corridors were a little chilly but then I would expect that in an historic building. Overall a great find in a handy location and definitely worth a repeat visit. 」

「I strongly do NOT recommend this property. I booked a “Comfort Suite” based on the photos and description, but the actual apartment was completely different and far below the advertised standard. This is clearly misleading to customers. The apartment was in unacceptable hygienic condition: dirty used bedding with hair, damaged sheets, dirty furniture and empty alcohol bottles left in the room. 「The room was extremely small. The sink was in the room, and so was the shower, which felt uncomfortable and impractical. On the positive side, the room was very clean and warm. Breakfast was by far the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. It resembled hospital food and was a total waste of money. Definitely not worth paying for. Coffee and tea were available for free downstairs, but not in the room. Overall, cleanliness was good, but the room layout and breakfast were very disappointing.」
