Diyar Al-Muharraq Vacations from ￥392,550

It was a nice budget place. There were previous reviews claiming the sound from disco bothering in the night. I asked for, and was given a sound proof room. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean although the carpet was old, which didn't bother me at all. Bathroom was clean tiled. The TV only had Arabaic channels and no free English channel except news. It's at the edge of Manama, if one walks out there is a long bazar with many restaurants, groceries stores and other shops. Once can use the laundry across the street which is cheaper than asking the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay at a very reasonable price.

Overall, it was a good experience for the price I paid. My only real negative experience occurred at checkout, when I was charged 5 BD for a hand towel that tore when I removed it from the towel holder. The towel was already in very poor condition, and it tore simply through normal handling. I felt the charge was unreasonable, particularly given the poor condition of the towel to begin with. Unfortunately, this left a sour taste in my mouth and detracted from what had otherwise been a very enjoyable stay.

My biggest concern was that they had not received my reservation made through this site. They were able to accommodate me, but if they hadn’t been that would have been a big problem. So if you book through here I would advise you to contact them to confirm. Otherwise it was a good stay, staff were great, room was large, location was perfect. One thing to note is that they have some nightclubs nearby, so if noise bothers you you should request a room away from the clubs.

I was expecting a lot more with the ratings I saw on Expedia. The room was big but not well maintained. I stayed for 2 nights, and the staff did not clean the room every day. There are a couple of clubs and bars in the hotel. I stayed on the 5th floor and the music from the clubs was very loud and continued until 2:30 in the morning. It was impossible to sleep.

Check on fast and easy , Missed the request for extra towels Received the requested slippers Mattress was not even and the age of it is expired not comfy at all 2 pillows for 2 adults in the room not convenient Extra bathroom in living room is a plus , TV channels is not working in proper way and outdated TV
