Perfect family getaway

This was the perfect location for a big family celebration, Ranging in age from 3 to 70. Lots of room for everyone, stunning ocean views, easy access to a nearby path down to the beach, and the kids loved the game room, of course!

Firm Retreat Destination

This is the 3rd time we have enjoyed this extraordinary property for our much needed annual Retreat. The beauty is unsurpassed and the amenities are perfect for a group/family. The kitchen is well appointed and spacious opening on to the living area. The game room does not disappoint! Sleeping with the window open to hear the crashing surf was the icing!

Girl Cousin Trip

This house is amazing and the views are even more amazing. We had our girl cousin trip here of ladies ages 60 and older. We would definitely stay here again! couldn't of been better

Great Place

The big common area was fantastic for our annual getaway. We have 9 adults and the house gave us the space we wanted to hang out, play games and cook meals together. The hot tub and game room were fun too.

Excellent family vacation location

We had a lovely time. The place is great. A floor plan would have been helpful in advance as the bathroom situation was not as we envisioned it. Also, the induction stove lacked a manual and was difficult to figure out. Otherwise, top notch! We hated to leave and the owner made the check-out process a dream....

Family celebration

We loved our stay in Dillon Beach. The house was perfect for 10 of us with plenty of space. The views are incredible. We all enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. Great location for day trips and excursions. I highly recommend this property for you and your family.

Incredible property

This was the perfect family getaway. The house has a stunning ocean view and is well equipped with something for everybody. We utilize the game room, played cards, games and puzzles around the main table, and grilled fresh local oysters on the BBQ. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful property

The perfect house for our family's Dillon beach vacation. It has an incredible view from the kitchen, dining and family room with an amazing balcony. Our large family spends most of our time hanging out together on the balcony or around the large dining table playing cards, eating, etc while we take in the views. The house is very clean and well maintained with modern updates and lots of amenities. I highly recommend this house.

Wonderful views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had 13 family members ranging from four to ninety. The house comfortably accommodated us. There are houses on either side of this rental property which was not quite what we expected from the photos, but still a relatively private feel.

Perfection

This is an incredible house that worked for our extended family. Well stocked, wonderful layout so we could spread out a bit and views that leave you speechless. Beach access is a fairly difficult climb down the bluff, I would not recommend for small children or anyone with mobility issues. We hope to book this home again!

A few issues but all in all we had a nice time.

The first issue was access to the home upon arrival! The front door lock set was broken and it took us 30 mins with a phone call to owner to get in the front door. There were ants all over the kitchen; on the floor, in the sink, and on the countertops! The refrigerator froze a lot of our produce which had to be thrown away and we never found a temp adjustment to fix this issue. There was plenty of cookware but only one mixing bowl for meal prep!! The house was plenty big for our large family of 16 (10 adults and 6 grandchildren) and we had a fun time at the beach despite the June “gloom” weather…next time we will come in the Spring or Fall for more sunshine!

Awesome Place to Reconnect With Family

Had a great time with family in this lovely home. Plenty of room to gather as a group, but with enough personal spaces that we never felt ‘on top’ of one another. Only downside was the new living room furniture, great for teenage hangout room, but impractical, uncomfortable, and frankly unusable for the older crowd in our group.

Friends getaway

Great trip for our group of ten. The house is beautiful, roomy, clean and just perfect for a large group. We had a small problem getting in the house but that was on VRBO’s end. The property manager quickly resolved the issue. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing location for large group on Dillon Beach Bluff

We enjoyed the large living room with views from Point Reyes to Botega Bay! The kitchen had everything we needed including spices. The hot tub worked nicely. Game room was fun. The parking for 5 cars is a bit tricky but be managed. Carpets are stained and could all be replaced. We needed kindling for the fireplace. We had one major housekeeping problem that did get resolved.

Fantastic weekend getaway with coworkers

This house was perfect for a team-bonding weekend for a group of physical, occupational, and speech therapists. The house was massive and had breath-taking views of the ocean. The living room and dining room stole the show for sure, and the huge kitchen was great as well. The kitchen had absolutely everything you need, with countless utensils, pans, serving platters, baking sheets, cutting boards, and silverware. There was a beautiful espresso machine, along with a drip coffee maker and a French press.We were able to fit five standard cars in the driveway by parking the first four perpendicular to the garage, and the last one parallel to the street. The rest of the cars we parked outside the HOA and it was an easy shuttle back and forth. The host was responsive and the check in/out process was very easy. It was great that the two en-suite bathrooms also had doors to the hallways, so that all four bathrooms could be shared. Luxurious towels!A few tips:-Two of the bathrooms have faucet handles that are very small and very difficult to turn, so if you have elderly people or people with arthritic hands in your group, you may want to give them the other two bathrooms to use. -The hot tub is only accessible through one of the bedrooms, so don't assign that bedroom to someone who goes to bed early ;) -The igniter on the BBQ can be finicky, but there are two hand-held igniters in one of the drawers. Highly recommend, and definitely hope to be back.

BUYER BEWARE

The view is what you are paying for. The house needs some updating. When I rented this house, I expected to have a great weekend with my family. When we arrived, at no fault to anyone, the power was out due a storm that had hit the area. We were not informed prior to arrival by the property host so we were not prepared for this situation. We did not have refrigeration for the food we brought, and we could not cook it as everything in the house, including the stove is electric. We were given an ETA of 8:30pm for the power to be restored. Unfortunately, the power was not restored. We searched the entire house for flashlights and because we did not have phone service, internet or a working house phone me and my husband drove a few miles down the road to contact the property host to ask where the flashlights were. He said that there should be some but did not know where they were. We would have brought some had we known or we could have purchased some but there are no local stores in this area. By the next morning after finding out that the new ETA for the power to restored was 2:00pm and spending a miserable night in the dark and freezing cold house with no electricity, no refrigeration, no hot water we decided to pack up and go home. Surely, since we did not get the use of one of the amenities the house advertised, they would work with us on a refund, partial refund or come back on another date. Nope, the property host told Vrbo to tell us NO :(
