"I’ve stayed at the Beckman Arms many times, in all of the various parts (motel, Delamater House, etc) and have never been disappointed. The location is exceptional, the rooms are cozy and clean, and parking is great. I highly recommend it if you’re staying in the area."

Indoor-Outdoor Retreat in the Heart of Uptown Kingston
10/10 Excellent
"This is an outstanding place to stay. The rooms and space accommodated everyone in our group. The location is perfect for walking to the historic Kingston area for shopping and dining. The outdoor space is very inviting. The kitchen is great. It is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. But even more important was the responsiveness of our hosts. Providing contact information made it easy to communicate and she was so helpful and kind when responding, When we needed assistance due to an incident with our two year old grandson, Shannon provided support and information to allow us to address the incident. Her kindness, professionalism and communication ensured our family weekend was fun and enjoyable. If you’re considering staying in Kingston, choosing this rental is an excellent decision."
"The property is lovely. It is as advertised. The place is very clean and very well appointed. Our host Angelo met us when we arrived and was very helpful and informative about local restaurants, and areas of interest. We really look forward to going back and spending more time. at the stables. A gem."
"Steep stairs rewarded by magnificent loft. Very clean, pool table, TV complete with YouTube, Netflix, Prime and a bunch more I am did not useModern appliances, bathroom & shower were exceptional.Lots of little touches done right.I am very sensitive to noise at night, forgot my earplugs and had no problem sleeping. There was the occasional train which in the MBR was not a problem. For sensitive sleepers, might be a problem in the other bedroom. We did not eat there (no good opportunity),but there is a hole in the wall Jamaican restaurant one block away that rated 4.8. My stepson who likes good food and restaurants spoke highly of it.I was a bit torn on the neighborhood rating. The area is gentrifying and while some of houses in the area were in need of repair and there is the occasional graffiti, there are 3 artists' studios on the block. My stepson drives 20 minutes to some of the restaurants in the area.Normally I when in the area, I stay with my stepson and his family, but they had a big event (14 kids in the basement) so we needed a place to stay, If the need arose, I would happily go back here again - and I am picky."
