「Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig-wohnlich eingerichtet, so dass wir uns dort - vor allem bei leider sehr regnerischem Wetter - gut aufhalten konnten. Die jüngeren Kinder haben die Möglichkeit, sich während des Melkens im Stall aufzuhalten und dort auch helfen zu dürfen, sehr geschätzt. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich, offen und nimmt sich für alle Fragen Zeit. Wer das Landleben und die Naturnähe liebt, ist hier wunderbar aufgehoben. Der Hausberg von Bern, der Gurten, ist von hier aus...

「Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! 」

「Exceptionally clean! The hosts are quite welcoming and absolutely adorable. The couple was very helpful in suggesting places to go, beyond what we had already planned and they also speak several languages. Highly recommend staying there!」

「Gimmelwald is like a fairytale and Husmättli is a wonderful house to stay in. The view of the mountains and waterfalls are really a sight to see. Gino, the host, is very nice as well. If you have the chance to stay here, please do. You will be happy you did.」

"The hotel has a great view, is on a hill, and is quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I appreciate that coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the lobby lounge. However, it is a 10-15 minute walk uphill from Wengen station, so while it's not a problem for people with good legs, it was difficult for elderly people like us. It was great that they provided a free shuttle to the station to take suitcases and other items to and from the hotel. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again."
