"Overall the hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly. The fitness room was big and nice. I never saw the bistro bar open, but maybe it's because it's not season yet. The common areas were very nice and appear to be updated. The rooms good size and comfortable. I would stay here again. "

"Was caught off guard with $10 a night to park in the hotel parking lot ($20 a night for peak season) this was not clear when reservations were made and the couple checking in before us was caught off guard as well, even if you had handicap placard you still had to pay!"

"The chocolate chip cookies were great. Beds were comfortable. Didn’t got to breakfast due to meeting up with some friends at Cox Family Diner within walking distance from hotel. The property needs to be updated asap. Great location!"

"The farmhouse is definitely a five-star place. It was very peaceful, comfortable and quiet.It was very clean. I would not hesitate to stay again! I loved all the decor and reading about the history of the property.I felt right at home! Getting in was so easy. I am so very thankful for that!Pamela was very responsive to any question anytime.I would have liked to have had a regular coffee pot or even a Melita pot. I am not a Keurig person LOL I had brought my own coffee and coffee grinder and I made do.I am old school too.Thank you again Pamela for a wonderful place to stay!"

"The breakfast was very fulfilling and hot food was provided. It was very busy this morning so I took my food up to my room. Very convenient to Atlantic Beach area and my check in Lady Ms.Jeanette was helping out a couple checking out and they were singing praises about the wild horses. Ms. Jeanette told me to head towards Beaufort and I would find wild horses...I found them..so thank you very much for the tips. I will be back again."

"It smelled like mold, the “jetted hot tub” is just a tub with a diy project jets added to it that didn’t even worked.. they were dirty as well… no way I was gonna sit in that nasty tub. First room I went to before they switched me, had massive moldy shower with an used up soap bar.. "

"Good place for the price. Quiet neighborhood, private beach is great. Slept two families, 4 adults and 7 kids comfortably. Clean and neutral decor was nice. Lots of kitchen items to use. It does smell like pets a little , and the back room smelled like smoke so if you’re sensitive to those things be aware. I’m picky with cleaning fees, so there were a few cleaning things that bugged me but weren’t deal breakers. It was definitely cleaner than many places I’ve stayed at, the floor passed the “white sock test” with flying colors. "
