Dewitt City Park

Friendly staff, good location, building has character. Appreciated being welcomed with my small poodle. Unfortunately the inner courtyard room was a letdown with really poor lighting, zero view, a sagging canoe mattress, and a shower that didn’t drain properly. Staff were quick to offer a solution with a room change and I am grateful, but wouldn’t stay at the Mark again.

We would stay here again if....we could rent the unit that has a bed on the first floor. MY BAD. Not Tiny Dig's fault. Our unit (the Rock and Roll #12) has a loft bed, which is a mattress on the floor in the loft you can't stand in, and my husband is 6'6" tall. We are old. We were absolutely miserable crawling on the hard wood floor in the middle of the night. The bathroom is "downstairs"...down a difficult stairway for old people. Again, not their fault. I didn't realize this well enough when I booked it. So sorry, but I think people should know this. Here's what we loved: -The location is so fantastic and the food on 28th Street is epic. -The fire pit outside was so great for having our family guests (there's no room in the unit to sit and visit). You do need to have a place for people to get more propane. -The French press coffee maker was so great...you need to say on your site that it is a French press. (I brought my own coffee thinking it was a percolator! But it worked!) -The food trucks nearby. We didn't love: -Nowhere to put our suitcases -Although there are technically chairs downstairs, because we had to lay our suitcases all over the first floor, we couldn't have a space to visit with family. Again, it is a tiny home, I know! But it was "too tiny" for us. -Downstairs bathroom. Again, an old people problem! I called the owner while we were there to try to move and understandably, we were unable to move to another unit in our timeframe.
