"Hotel Ludwig was a great hotel. Checking in was a breeze, very friendly and informative. Parking was free, a bit limited but was not a problem at all! Very clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom was spacious and shower was great as well! It is located near the ubahn, the S-bahn and bus stops. We will not hesitate to stay here again when in Munich. It may have been the owner who checked us in and waved us goodbye when we left. Very nice touch. We really appreciated that! Wish we could have stayed...

"This property is Amazing. The best part was the attentive staff. From the desk, to the wait staff, to the mini fridge stocker, all helpful pleasant, professional. We had. Very late flight I had made a reservation at the restaurant on property and on our way from airport I called to let them know we still needed food. They let the restaurant know and offered many options. It was so appreciated ! The Motor World is a car showroom that your room looks down on. Plus you can wander about and shop or just dream. :) Breakfast is a lovely buffet with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, meats cheeses, pastry, bread, juices, beer for last day of October festival.:) cereal yogurt, fruit and a great espresso coffee machine! The Underground is about a 10 min walk from the hotel U6 line easy to use. Easy to get to central Munich. Isabel was our first contact and made our late arrival a very pleasant experience thank you. I did go up to the gym sauna and enjoyed the quiet room they had 2 saunas with different temperatures and some showers, bathrooms, lockers, iced water and lots of towels. We would highly recommended this property to anyone."

"The best part was the location. It was so close to the S/U-bahn I could hit it with a stone throw. There was no fridge or microwave. The restaurant food was ok, but there was no way to save or reheat leftovers. One bartender there overheard a private conversation between my girlfriend and I about her not liking her mojito. Instead of offering to remedy the situation, he decided to interrupt to tell her she was wrong and stupid (it really was a bad mojito). BAD MOVE! After they had words, he refused to serve us. I would have suggested that he be fired, but I was there for Oktoberfest and he wasn't worth my time. We didn't go back. Other that that, the place was ok. The next night we went to a cool little Italian place a block or two away (mostly Italian speaking, but friendly). Skip the hotel restaurant completely!"

"The staff were terrific from the moment we stepped into reception. A great understanding of exhausted travellers and beautifully spoken English. Rooms were ready for the 3 of us early which were gratefully accepted 🌸. Fresh fruit, mini croissants and citrus chilled water was available for guests all during the day, which really were a welcomed treat. A nice breakfast is available and also a bar. Was nice to get a drink and sit chatting in the lounge area. Trains and buses were only 50m from the hotel as was a large, clean superbly stocked supermarket. Will happily return to this hotel. Many thanks again"
