The Talbot Inn is a good middle point between Haines and the interior of Alaska. It is clean and has a nice staff and we enjoy the restaurant there.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and considering it was the only motel within about 100 miles, the rate was quite reasonable. I would recommend it and would stay here again if I was in the area.

Always our first night when driving out of Alaska. It isn't fancy, but it's always clean and comfortable. A little convenience store is next to the cafe and check-in for the motel.

Perfect stop for dinner and sleep. Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. Great shower pressure. Check in is inside the little convenience store by the fuel pumps. Well priced for the tired traveler.

The room was clean. It was convenient to have a restaurant and gas station on the same property. We had to wait a bit for the restaurant and gas station convenience store to open at 7am so we could grab coffee and breakfast snacks before leaving. I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through.

The staff was courteous and kind. Breakfast took a long time. We ordered at 7:20 a.m. and did not receive our food until 8:00. A.m.. probably best to not expect a quick meal at the same time as everyone else at 7:00. A.m..
