The house is bright and clean and fully equipped.And of particular importance to us: it's wheelchair-accessible.It's located on the edge of a small village in beautiful surroundings. Interesting cities like Koblenz, Limburg aan Lahn, and Montabaur are just 20 to 30 km away, and they're well worth a visit.We barely spoke to the hosts in person, but their online communication was quick and clear. "Es gab für uns keinen Aufenthalt, unzumutbar, da wir zum einen eine dunkle Kellerwohnung vorfanden und auch nicht behindertengerecht, da eine steile Treppe hinabführte ohne Geländer oder dgl. Der Eingangsbereich verschmutzt und was als Terrasse bezeichnet wurde, vollkommem verwahrlost war. Die Wohnung total dunkel und die Außenbereiche von hohen dunklen Mauern umgeben. Kein Kleiderschrank, ledigl. eine kurze Stange mit 5 Bügeln und das in einer Wohnung, die für bis zu 6 Personen ausgewiesen...

"Beautiful hotel and setting. We stayed in an apartment which is off-sight from the hotel, which we didn’t realize, however, I would choose that stay again. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and spacious with a balcony facing the river. We didn’t utilize the spa but did take time to tour it. Beautiful and definitely a relaxing atmosphere."

"We stayed one night in a small room with a river view. The view was great , the room was fine but what gives this a 5 star is the staff and the breakfast. The front desk staff both when we checked in and out were very helpful and personable . The staff serving breakfast were very very nice , appeared at our table at exactly the right time and all the food was fresh and very tasty. Between us we had the quiches, bacon, eggs- fried and hard boiled, meats, fruits, buns, juices, tea, espresso and a few more things- they were all fresh and delicious. It was a wonderful start to the day ."

"I had a single room, which was spacious enough for me and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean, only the minibar was not cold enough. Quiet location, breakfast and staff were amazing, secure parking inside and wonderful historical building in the heart of town, so I'll be happy to come again..."

"The room was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed including coffee machine. Bed was very comfy and enormous! Car park is very conveniently situated under the building. Do ask staff for discount on car park fee. Great to have a sparkling water fountain in reception. Only downside was gym was useless and sauna was switched off."
