「Vacasa sent us directions to the lake house we cancelled instead of the new one on the river, so that caused some issues after driving all day (376 miles). It was upsetting but once i contacted them via text, they verified they made an error and sent the new directions. Still, we wasted a good hour trying to figure out the incorrect directions and everything. Thankfully, the correct cabin was beautiful as were the grounds and the beautiful raging river! 「This is a great concept, and the Evans Family Farm delivers "glamping" in every way. I've camped rugged, like a sheepherder, many times in my life, and this was indeed the lap of luxury. Yes, you'll be "roughing it" a bit, but Kathy, Grady and Grady (mom, dad and son) provide all the necessary amenities. Especially if you've got kids, give this a try. The photo below was my view straight out the zip-door of the tent every morning...」

「Wil, the host was communicating from the time I made the reservation. He was offering help if any questions needed answering. Once we arrived he was also quickly responsive to any questions we may have had. Upon returning home I was missing an electronic device. I texted Wil and he was on the case until i discovered a bag I had forgotten to unpack 2 days later. The views are extraodinarily beautiful. All exactly as advertised」

「The property is on a quiet street with easy walking access to the lake. The trees on the west side of the property helped keep the cabin cool in the afternoon. We appreciated the array of kitchen pots and pans, and the living room was spacious. We had originally planned to eat out a couple of times, but cooking and eating in the cabin just seemed so pleasant so we didn't stray for meals. 」
