「Requested a refund upon arrival and checking out the room. This place is still very much under renovations in some areas. Construction material very visible and rooms seemingly still being remodeled. The room itself looked new but was extremely pungent. Think glue fumes or heavy cleaner, no idea what but was so strong that we requested a refund as we could not think of remaining in the room for any amount of time.」

「There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean. The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside. My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. 「Beautiful property with plenty of room to spread out. The family room with large couch and TV are on the second floor so that was an inconvenience for some in our group. The beds are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ambiance of the front porch patio with fire pit, tiki bar and koi pond with waterfall. Sean and Shauna are great hosts and always responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had.」
