「It’s very bare bones basic facility. But the Room was clean and the price was reasonable so worked out well.」

「Elevator didn’t work, breakfast was awful. Room smelled like smoke. There was a large jacuzzi tub just laying in the hallway lol it seemed like the rooms were newly remodeled but so much of the hotel still seemed broken or not well maintained.」

「Arrived 5pm to check in, no one at front desk. Phone on desk says to call to be connected immediately with someone to help. Tried on that phone and website phone for 30mins. Gave up, went for dinner. Tried calling hotel phone again twice on way back from dinner, not answered. Called Expedia to ask for money back, Expedia called and hotel suddenly answered the phone saying they are at front desk. We finally checked in as all other hotels full but probably won’t stay again.」

「There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Checking in was easy—you get the physical key from a lockbox using a 4-digit code. The place was pristinely clean. The lake view was beautiful, and you can enjoy it from the chairs right by the door, or from inside. My wife and I used the kayaks to explore Fox Lake, and it was a lot of fun. Even though it was my first time, it was easy to maneuver through the still water. Life jackets are conveniently kept in the brown box. There are...

「It was perfect for our large family gathering. Lots of space and bedrooms. The “game building” was full of music and sounds of laughter.」

「There's on-site maintenance right there when I arrived to make everything easy. Also got a call from Cathy the owner to check in on me. Great time especially at night with the campfire and breeze from the lake. Fun local bar scene as well at Whacky Jacks and also the Timber Steak House」

「Comfortable, clean, well equipped. Lots of snacks, coffee stuff centrally located.」

「We enjoyed our stay here very much! The home was clean and well cared for. It was a little musty in the basement room but we didn't use the room so it wasn't a big deal to us. When you walk into the home, you are met with a beautiful view of the lake which was perfect! The homeowner was very attentive and easy to work with. We enjoyed the firepit and the overall feel that the home gave us. The furniture was very comfortable as well. We would definitely come back!」

「Beautiful & relaxing location on Oliver Lake. Lynn & Trenia were so kind & even allowed us to stay an extra night when we had vehicle issues. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area!」

「If you are looking for a little slice of peaceful paradise, this is it! Everything you could need is right at your fingertips and is tastefully presented. The lake is calm and quiet and provides the perfect setting for rest, relaxation, and time to marvel at the beauty of nature. Today while floating on a raft in the lake a beautiful blue dragonfly hung out with me for about an hour! The neighbors are friendly and welcoming. This week restored my soul and reminded me of childhood vacations...

「Great property, very clean and plenty of space for a family of 4.」

「Good location! The house was easy to find. The house was very clean.」

「We had an excellent week stay at this house. The place is beautiful and the owners have it stocked with everything needed. They checked in several times during our stay to make sure we were having a good time. We had an issue with the dock and they responded immediately and had someone out to fix it the next morning.I would recommend this place to anyone.」

「Wonderful Second Stay — This was our second time at the lake cottage and we loved it just as much as the first. The home is super clean, peaceful, and perfectly equipped with everything we need for an easy, relaxing getaway. The sunsets are absolutely amazing, and the whole property stays wonderfully quiet throughout the day. The host is very responsive and helpful with anything we needed or any questions that came up. We’ll definitely be back next summer.」

「They were so accomodating. They allowed us to stay 2 hours past check out. They said they like guests to not feel rushed and they were so friendly too.」
