La Thiaumerie near St Lo France. This is a picture from our bedroom window looking out at the French countryside. A great little B&B run by a bilingual English couple. We used this as a base to explore the Normandy Beach area as my wife traced her father's D-day exploits.

"Very friendly, good meet and greet. Perfect property for a perfect location. Very clean and adequate. Own towels required. "

"We had some good and calm days in the countryside. The house was appropriate for us. Weather was fine and we were most of the time sitting under the tree or hiking."

The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area.
