It was an interesting design of room. But we had a natuural hotspring onsen CEDAR tub in room. So refreshing to soak in it. Great japanese dinner and breakfast included.

This was the perfect onsen for us! Sleek, modern room with everything we needed, gorgeous view of a lake with hills reflected in it. Staff was very good. Japanese cuisine--Shabu shabu (we got fish and beef) was great, so was breakfast. Lots of regional specialties. The hot springs water is really lovely. The pool is only knee deep, but neato, sauna was nice. They really thought of everything! Close to station and a 15 minute train to Kami Arita for pottery shopping. Should have stayed longer.

The property was very easy to find and staff was quick to meet us at the door and greet us. The overall stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and took every chance to find ways to communicate with us in English. The food presentation was 10/10. The room was spacious, everything that we needed was in the lobby for us to grab and use. The beds were comfortable, shower room was beautiful. This hotel was beyond my expectations!

Ritz Carlton has the best trained staff, I think the staff at Fukuoka went above and beyond the Ritz standard. A very pleasant young man, Lennon, checked me in, efficient and friendly, a big friendly smile. A big shout out to "Yuki" San, the concierge, he was able to think outside of the request and gave different options to explore, without overwhelming the decision. A most pleasant stay, will come back for the staff.

As an English-speaking solo traveler visiting Japan for the first time, I had a phenomenal experience at this hotel! The staff were so warm and welcoming, and they really went out of their way to make sure I understood everything and that all my questions were answered and needs were met. Excellent hotel with very nice buffet breakfast and a large public bath. Terrific stay and the view from the sky view was very nice. Quiet and restful throughout my stay. I would return again.

Great hotel! Walking distance to shopping, subway, Hakata station. 7-11 right across the street. It was the largest room we had at the end of the trip for our family of 4. There was a lot of room for all of us to lay out our luggage and then some. They did not charge us for having too many people either.

Loved this place. A little trip to a quieter part of Japan. The hotel worked very very hard to accommodate gluten free meals for my mother even after I had forgotten to tell them ahead of time. They were very sweet to help my mom experience traditional Japanese food, gluten free. The canals were lovely to tour as well.
