「Loved this place. The suite rooms on the top floor are outstanding. Staff are welcoming and extremely friendly. Good spoken English. Food from the restaurant (and room service) is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. There was a small problem with the hot water when I checked in but solutions were found. 」

There was a hole where the minibar with refrigerator was supposed to be. Hot water only came when asked one day and not at all the next. 「Our original plans outsidr Lumbini were thwarted and Hotels.com kindly changed us to this Perfect location right beside Buddha’s birthplace. The restaurant and staff were a highlight, the lodgings lovely and the surroundings delightful. Highly recommended!」

「Great location. Right across the road from the gate to Maya Devi temple. The bus station is next door as well as all the shops and restaurants. Fan and AC in the room. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in since coming to Nepal」

「街のにぎわいから少し離れたところにある緑いっぱいのホテルです。スタッフの方がとても親切にしてくれました。聖園、寺院地区を回る時にはホテルが手配してくれるリキシャがオススメです。なにか困ったらホテルの人と連絡が繋がるし、効率的に回ってくれる運転手さんで、最後に支払いはホテルにしますので、安心です。 ホテルの部屋は冷房も聞いて、お湯も出るし快適です。ただし、セキュリティーボックスはないです。 レストランは街中にいくつかあるようですが、私はここで満足でした。暑い中観光して戻ったら、緑に囲まれて癒やされました。 ホテルに関係ないですが、観光に行く際はぜひ現金小銭を持参ください。観光地には物売りの子どもがたくさんいました。普通基本彼らからは何も買わないのですが、思いがけずタダでお花をくれた子どもがいて、何もあげられず悔やんでいます。」

「 The hotel was nice but in need of updating. We had a Japanese-styled room with rice paper doors with many damaged rice paper panels. There was no light next to the bed, only the overhead light. The service was excellent. Lumbini was filled with smoke from surrounding agricultural burns., which we were told were typical in November and December. 「Lets face it. Butwal is not a tourist destination or major foreign investment site. The hotel options are limited. At Darcy's you get a clean room, professional service, safe meals and privacy. Nothing is outstanding but the staff is friendly and everything is pleasant. The location means it is convenient but noisy. During our stay there was a communication issue between Darcy's and Orbitz.
