Vacation Rentals in Lincoln County

"Coffee and breakfast were not free, and it only had a Starbucks with very limited hours. The pool and hot tub were closed for repair. Out room was dirty and dated, and the bathroom had hair and hair balls in the shower. We rented this hotel for the pool and hot tub so that was very disappointing. It was $150 per night, I would’ve rather stayed at The Hampton Inn next door. "

"We were there for a short period of time, but Kimberly at the front desk made our time there pleasant. First, when I called in the morning to find out about late checkout times she checked in with me to make sure I didn’t miss breakfast. I later told my friends it was such a Midwest thing to do. She even called me honey, and it was sweet. After planning to stay another night, we later learned that we could make arrangements at a local hospitality house due to having someone in the hospital. Kimberly was great and let us change our reservation without charge. It was such a kind thing to do, knowing that we had other things on our mind. We were very grateful to her for all the little things she did during our stay."

"This hotel has one of the best breakfast buffets and best rooms. We have stayed at this hotel four times now while traveling cross country with our kids. The staff in Salina is very friendly, and the rooms are among the best we've seen - roomy and comfortable. There is also a large pool. The area can get busy if there are events going on downtown, but most times, it is fine to find parking across the street. "

"I chose this hotel after reviewing it online, particularly because of the pool area, which looked like a great feature for my three kids who were traveling with me. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, I was required to pay a room deposit that was not disclosed anywhere on the website. That was frustrating, but I moved forward with the stay. We planned to use the pool during our second night, only to find that it was out of service. While the hot tub was still operational, that wasn’t a suitable substitute for young kids who were specifically looking forward to the pool. Since we were staying for four nights, I decided to address the issue at checkout, hoping for a reasonable resolution. When I spoke with the manager, I was told that I should have mentioned it earlier and could have been refunded and left. That response was disappointing. Suggesting that I should have uprooted my family mid-stay due to a maintenance issue on the hotel’s end is not a reasonable solution. Beyond the pool, there were several maintenance and quality concerns throughout the room. The bathroom flooring was coming up, and the bathroom door was delaminating and falling apart. The refrigerator did not have a proper freezer, though items would freeze if the temperature was set to maximum. Additionally, the website advertised a continental breakfast that included items like eggs and bacon. However, during our stay, breakfast options were limited. "

"I checked in on Friday and the bed squeaked so loudly it was insane. I was moved to another room and it was fine until we tried to shower the next day. The shower would not turn on. I was told maintenance would be in at 230 and would look at it. I called the front desk about 5 pm to check on the status of the maintenance person. The front desk went and found the maintenance and advised me that he was “too busy” to look at the shows and would have to move AGAIN to another room. Three rooms for a two night stay! When I asked for a refund I was advised that I would need to talk to the manager and she was not in on the weekend. I have stayed at this hotel before and never had any problems which is why I came back. Not sure I would ever stay here again! "

"First we will start with the good. Front desk was friendly, building is very nice inside and our room was very clean! Now my $170 a night it’s overly expensive when you factor in that at that price you aren’t getting free breakfast when every other hotel in the area is offering that. The bigger problem with it being a paid breakfast was that there was nothing special about it. The typical hot breakfast you get anywhere else; eggs sausage bacon. Nothing worthy of an additional fee. Secondary we had two small dogs and I wasn’t looking at that pricing when we booked but they are on the very high end of pet fees from other places I’ve stayed costing $50 per dog which is typically a $15-25 fee. Those two reasons is why this stay is a 3 out of 5 for me."

"We stayed here twice on our round trip travels. Second time had a room that didnt need repair. Very comfortable room and beds. Will stay here again when traveling through."
