"We arrived to an excellent welcome, a tour of the hotel and room. We could not have felt more at home, a treat after being on the road for 6 weeks. As we came more familiar with the hotel, restaurant and bar, the welcoming and friendly spirit of all of the staff team was at the fore. The sympathetic design of the room and communal areas again is just relaxing. The town of Vicuna is also a treat in chilled atmosphere. We booked one night, stayed two only because we had to be somewhere. We wish we could have stayed longer. Juan was particularly engaging and great English too. "

"This property is a veritable oasis in the middle of a quite bleak landscape. We chose this hacienda to provide a break in our drive from Pisco Elqui to Santiago and were very glad we did. Everything was great - the amenities, the people, the restaurant, ... We particularly enjoyed taking a walk through the fruit orchards and vegetable gardens, and lounging with our Aperol Spritzs at the pool"

"We enjoyed our stay at Vertientes. The place is nice, family friendly, and in a good location. The only thing is that they moved us from our original room to another after the first day, saying that they were going to work on the electrical system. Didn't they know that when they booked us there originally? But we wouldn't let this keep us from re-booking there again if the opportunity ever arises."

"We had a lovely stay in one of the cabins - clear night and the stars were amazing. The pool was great and you could order drinks in the dome below. Friendly staff and we had a nice dinner in Pisco Elqui which is just a short drive away. Also, I don’t think it’s updated on Expedia yet, but they are dog friendly :)"

"Had to move rooms as my room was being fumigated. Was informed day I had to move and was not able to move my own clothes and luggage. Was not able to make it back to hotel but they still went ahead and moved me. They did give me a bigger room but it was only last night. "
